My experience with this bed was not great, but customer service and dealing with the company was excellent and for that I am thankful. First, I personally, had parts that didn't fit quite accurately where they were supposed to. One latch just wouldn't reach on the top panel which caused that area to not be stable. Also, the drawer refused to stay shut and kept popping open enough where it didn't look nice when the bed was put away. A couple of the screw parts also broke on assembly. Next, if you purchase this please really understand how heavy this is. It is solid wood and came in two heavy boxes. You absolutely must assemble this bed in the exact location you want it as it is extremely difficult to move after assembly. Really think about the location! It is a very solid bed, though and if you assemble it exactly where you want and follow the videos for assembly and are okay with maybe a few imperfect results when you are done or you have good construction/engineering understanding to fix things that might not be quite right, I think you will be happy with this bed. It is definitely made of solid materials. But, after all of those experiences, customer service is wonderful to deal with. They really understood the problem and tried to help me with solutions. While they couldn't give a full refund, which I understand, they did offer me a partial refund since I will be disassembling the bed and not keeping it.

We received our Murphy bed yesterday via Fed Ex yesterday and started putting it together. From what I read this was supposed to be solid wood which is why I spent more for this product. Most of the cabinet is actually particle board or pressed wood board. The pilot holes were missing in several spots and the top is damaged. I am unable to send it back as I need to have a place for someone to stay asap. I am not very impressed with the quality.

Very difficult to put together when missing several pieces. Going to go to Lowe's to try to get some things to make this work. So far a total cheaply made waste of money! Really probably just need to request parts or a refund from seller.

We were only 3 steps in when we found that 2 of the holes were supposed to have threaded inserts but they were missing. Our second issue was with the right side door. It was misaligned and I had to put washers under the tab to allow them to mate. The final issue was with the locking mechanism. They are too far apart and needed to be moved in order to engage.

I love this sturdy and stylish Murphy bed! Mattress is included, so no need for buying mattress. Took about four hours to put together, so I recommend having another person to speed up the process. The bed uses smoothly and easy to open and close. Well worth the money for the style and storage.

This bed was exactly what I needed for a small guest bedroom. The mattress is very comfortable and stores inside the cabinet (see photo). Bed is low to the ground but it is a Murphy bed. It is very easy to fold up and looks great as a cabinet. I do feel like you need to be a rocket scientist to interpret the instructions because it takes 2 videos and the printed instructions to build it. The paper instructions are little help leaving you to have to watch the Chinese video that stops half way through so I watched the Amazon video for the rest but you have to pay close attention to which screws to use and placement of the items. Also the cabinet required knobs and they sent handle pulls, so I am going to have to buy my own knobs. The bed is built with real quality wood so overall I am very pleased and can’t wait for my guests to use it!!
