Quality cork board that you would find in any boxstore. The wood veneer frame is much nicer than the standard pine on my old one. No this isn't super thick cork, but it is comparable to the particulars of other brands. I hope it lasts the 10 yrs, or more of it's replacement.

If your fancy, this probably will not work for you. The back has cracks, and the whole back looks not as nice as the front. All I needed was something to post up the kids artwork, instead of putting little holes in the wall. The front is nice, it looks exactly like the picture. It is not "Well" put together, but it looks good enough. It was easily put up, with nice and easy instructions. I would have sent it back to get a more perfect one, but it looks like the craftmanship is not perfect, and would have gotten another one with minor imperfections in the back. And I didnt really care, I just wanted something up, and done.. which it is. If I had a fancy house, I would get something nicer, but this one does the job, and it does look nice. Good enough. Watch for what stick pens you get, so they do not go all the way into the wall in the back. ... show more

The first board I ordered arrived with the corner broken, the piece came off in my hand as I unwrapped the clear plastic wrapper. I returned that one, and hoping it was a fluke, ordered a second board. It was the style of frame I wanted, and I was willing to give them a second chance. The second board arrived with the corner cracked (it looked like it, too, had broken and the vendor glued it back on) and the finish work on the other corners was shoddy. Great cork board! Mine came in white, I love the size. The white borders feel flimsy sometimes but if it just sits on the way and isn't messed with- it will be fine. I would buy again.
