  • They kill the bright
Color: 3.0 Ir Filter Lens Size: Standard
I bought these and they are great. They fit over my glasses and save my eyes when I am using the torch. Get a pair and you will like them.

  • and I have to say that these are some pretty stand-up OTS glasses and the gift recipients both love ...
Color: Black Temples/Clear Anti-fog Lens Size: X-Large
I bought two pairs of these as gifts for some people who wear glasses and don't want to wear hideous college lab goggles. I did some fiddling with them before I gifted them just to make sure they were what I wanted to give, and I have to say that these are some pretty stand-up OTS glasses and the gift recipients both love them. These glasses have two adjustment points. The first is the extendable arm (I didn't measure how far they can extend, but they should fit most everyone's needs). The second, which was a big plus to me, is that they have an adjustable pivot at the attach-point. There are only three slots, but the arms can be adjusted to pivot upward from the lenses, dead-straight, or downward. These glasses are pretty thick, but also pretty transparent. The side-shields are pretty deep, and there's also a shield around the top (maybe half an inch deep?) that will extend over your glasses and toward your forehead. This also appears to keep you from smashing your glasses to your safety glasses and your safety glasses to your face. I believe there's also a small bridge on the nose that will keep your safety glasses from being able to touch your prescription lenses. Like I said, these glasses are pretty transparent. They won't clash with your prescription glasses and, after a while, they aren't even noticeable. All in all, these were well worth the money and so far have gotten great use from the people I bought them for. ... show more

  • Awkward fit
They do fit over my glasses, sorta. The lenses of my glasses are rubbing the inside of the safety glasses. Will cause scratches on the lenses of my glasses over time. But they do fit and keep the safety-freaks happy as I use a stapler at my desk.

  • Great for Oxygen-Acetylene Brazing
Color: 3.0 Ir Filter Lens Size: Standard
This shade 3 works Excellent for me. The shade 5 that came with my Oxy-Acety set is too dark. They fit comfortably over my prescription glasses. I would purchase again.

  • The coolest lab geek around...
Color: Black Size: One Size
I wear these goggles in the chemistry lab at school (undergrad chem major) and everyone is always jealous of mine. Everyone else is either wearing the ones from the school (awful) or wearing the elastic strap kind of their glasses that fog and leaves a suction line on your face (you know what I'm talking about, right?). These fit over my prescription glasses perfectly. They are very comfortable and do not slide my nose like others I've tried. I know they are more for impact protection and are not rated for chemical safety, but my laboratory activities did not require it and these protected my eyes better than the ones the chemistry department provides. Since they are impact resistant, I have also used them while working on my car, especially on things that are under high pressure. Overall they have performed way above my expectations and will continue to wear them until they fall apart and then I will buy another pair of the same. ... show more

  • Good quality but does not fit over all prescription glasses.
Color: Black Size: One Size
They are a decent pair of goggles, however, they DO NOT fit over my glasses. I do have larger size glasses, but based on other people’s descriptions, I really thought these would fit over them.

  • Great googles
Color: 3.0 Ir Filter Lens Size: Standard
These are perfect. I work a 9-5 to pay the bills but love my my garage time, and car time. These help my eyes from hurting in the morning look at my computer. There the perfect shade I can still see while grinding, but not to dark to see what I’m doing! Love them there my go too Googles now.

  • Good for women's small frame/narrow frame faces
Color: Black Size: One Size
I am in a clinical laboratory science/med tech program starting this fall, and we need to have well-fitting safety glasses for obvious reasons. However, as a smaller woman with a relatively narrow face AND prescription Rx glasses that I have to wear, there were no real options for suitable safety glasses offered by the program. I was afraid I would either be doomed to constant use of the Sucking Goggles, or to have to invest already in appropriately-sized prescription safety glasses. I checked around online, and was also dismayed to find that even "out there" there are very limited options for women in my situation - apparently, while there are (I'm sure) a lot of women like me in this field who need safety glasses, they are all buying prescription ones. I suppose I get this dearth of options from a business standpoint - once I'm in the working world, if I really need safety glasses all the time I'll probably invest in Rx safety glasses too. But what about women students trying to save money??? Well, I ordered this Pyramex pair and the Uvex S3160X Ambient OTG Safety Eyewear, Medium Blue Frame, Clear UV Extreme Anti-Fog Lens from Amazon just to try them out.... what do you know, the Uvex (which was specifically stated as smaller sized) was still way too big, but the Pyramex OTS fits almost perfectly! The Pyramex also looks and feels better on the face, and seems to be more of a seamless design where I don't notice it as much when I'm wearing it either. Plus it's DIRT CHEAP compared to the other options out there. Ladies, these may be your best bet. Be warned, however, that while I have a narrower face than most men, I also have a bit of a round face. Those of you who are super petite with truly narrow faces, these may not work either. But they're cheap enough that you should try them anyway, I haven't found any others that are narrower. YMMV. (FYI Grainger does sell little slip-on sidepieces that turn your regular glasses into "safety" glasses, so those might be worth a look - but I know my program wouldn't have let me, as a student, get away with using those instead of actual safety glasses. In that other strange land known as the Real World however, those may be my first option.) ... show more
