I’ve had three or four covers in the last three years. This was by far the best for the money. Also, it is important to run ropes under the boat and tie them off on the rings provided on sides of canopy. Also important to put foam on all of the sharp contact points. This cover has been through some big storms and performed beyond expectations. Our boat is kept on the water. ... show more

So I bought the 17-20' cover for my 16' Pontoon and...It works like a champ in the central Florida sun and rain. Made a couple of home made "tent poles" for the middle, takes me about 15 minutes to put on. Throw the 100' rope in your tool box and buy 20 bungee cords, they sell them here on on Amazon. Yes it's true, there are no instructions; there is a little tag sewn to what i believe is the front of the cover, it's labled "front". And yes there are a couple of slits cut in the back (assuming here again, they are at the opposite end of the cover that is tagged "front") I find them actually kinda of nice. I use the extra length to get some coverage over my motor and the flap acts as an access point so I can go up the back ladder to get under the cover when needed. Has stayed on in high wind and rain and yes, it is starting to sun fade in less than a year. No tears yet. I only expect this cover to last one year, if I get longer than that GREAT! But the price point for a year+ worth of protection from the Florida weather, IMO, can't be beat. Oh...and for the people asking if you can tow with it on...Man absolutley, you go for it bud. ... show more

Some of these reviews are fairly laughable. Begging for instructions? It doesn't fit your boat properly? If you need instructions to cover your part, please do not operate a boat near me out on the water......ok, that's a little harsh :) Seriously though. It's a "one size fits all". Everyone should simply understand that every boat is different, shaped different, higher, lower, etc. If you want a custom made cover, you need to spend hundreds. If you're ok with a few straps on the trailer, and a nice big cover, this one is for you. It saves money and does its job. There is no reason to expect anymore than what this does. Instructions are not needed. Open box, cover boat, strap down.....hand-holding not included. (this may be my most aggressive-sounding review ever :) ) ... show more

This cover does not quite attach as depicted in the photo or as described. I did not receive any D-rings to attach to the boat. Maybe I misunderstood. Cover has grommets and it comes with a long rope you weave through the grommets around the entirety of the boat or you can criss cross underneath. Your choice I guess. The size was good and covered all the way down past the deck. I cut up pieces of PVC piping to span the length of the boat to peak the cover in the middle so snow/rain could run off. It was an inexpensive solution if you have that problem. Not hard to install, I was just confused if I was supposed to receive the D-rings. I didn't want to traverse the bottom of the boat with rope due to hauling, but it worked out fine. ... show more

Fit well ,covers well ,multiple attachment points. Stays on even in windy conditions . Not completely water proof but good protection. You will need something underneath to hold it up to make water shed off I use pvc pipe bent into hoops . Overall good product I’ve had it about 3 or 4 months can’t say how it will hold up . Last cover ,different manufacturer,I bought lasted only a year but this one seams better. ... show more

    • Might might not buy again pontoon boat cover
The cover only lasted for a short period of time and then it ripped out all of the coins in touch something. With the arches go up in the middle the middle one ripped out all the way across and or other tears in it. Fair product for the price. If I was to buy it again I would definitely reinforce wherever it touches something. Have considered possibly buying a second cover and putting it over the top of this one and then reinforcing the center arch so I can use it ... show more

Picked this up to replace a tarp that I was using to cover my boat. Wow! What an upgrade! Quality material that will last far longer than a simple tarp. With the strap system, it's so much easier to keep on the boat! Say goodbye to the frustration of using rope and grommets that rip out! I forgot to get pictures, but plan to add them the next time I make it to where my boat is currently. ... show more
