One important thing to keep in mind; this is not a musicians instrument. It’s a toy. That said, it’s a pretty great toy! It has a built in rechargeable battery, so you don’t need to worry about swapping batteries or dealing with a power cord. Lasts decently long on one charge. Seems like it has some basic effects and even the ability so record yourself playing, aka a sampler of sorts? Not sure tho cause every time I try to figure it out the kids run off with it 😁 The sustain bar is interesting, ability to assign different effects to it would have been way cooler. Ah well. Anyway it is light & durable. Our youngest will turn any two objects into a drum set, and it’s help up so far. A great learning toy for musically inclined kids! ... show more

fun little keytar, obviously takes after the Roland Lucina… lots of tones, lots of rhythms, I like the drum mode, very light, the delay is fun but it unfortunately changes tempo (slows down) if you play more than 3 or 4 notes—sustain bar is not a true hold, just enables the normal fast-decaying sustain… microphone is not loud enough compared to instrument sounds to be useful, tone and beat selection buttons make no sense, speakers are very loud but distort above half volume, and plastics feels brittle and cheap—mine came with a crack on the back of the sustain / handle area ... show more

I purchased this electric keyboard as a gift for my friends daughter. She is 9 and having a birthday party with a music theme. She has taken piano lessons for a few years and really loves all things music, so I thought this keyboard would be a great gift. I am so pleased and surprised with all of the settings and options and things you can do with this keyboard! This has 37 keys to play with and built in full range stereo speakers! I especially love the option of connecting your device and streaming right from your fingertips. This is great to use for the karaoke function, and this keyboard even comes with a microphone! Although there is a child's picture as the lead, there are other pics that depict this as a serious instrument. Its basically a plastic toy to be played with. Unfortunately I let it go too long and can't return it.

The keys were very loose and seemed like they would break with any pressure. As soon as I plugged it up, the LED started flashing multiple signals, even when I use the up and down the road to find the sound it jumped all over it the spectrum.

My child is currently taking piano lessons and since we don't have a piano or the money for one, their instructor suggested a keyboard. With this keyboard, it's been helping them figure out where the keys are and associate them with the piano that they play on. While there are several different setting on this keyboard, it's been really helpful for them to not only practice their music but used used to which note is what and really just how to play. While there are times they will goof off on it, this keyboard is really helpful. I was even able to play with it and found it to be really fun too. This does come with a strap so they can take it really anywhere with them and while it does have some weight to it, it's not overly heavy or too bulky for them. ... show more
