My daughter was able to install these sturdy handrails in about a half hour with a drill and the included bolts. They are perfect to help my three and four year old grandbabies climb their treehouse safely. Good buy! Well worth the money.

This playset handlebar is sturdy and has beefy lag bolts for installation. I'd say the minimum size lumber for installation would be a 4x4. It offers something solid to hold on to while climbing up the play set ladder.
