This product came with no instructions. I had to figure out where the batteries went. Then it also doesn't come with the hand sanitizer. So now I have to even wait until I order some, before the caregiver's can even use it.

    • It Needs NEW Batteries Every 24-hrs
I purchase this dispenser a few days prior to the arrival of COVID19 in the US. My plan was to purchase the dispenser and the Purell stand first ad then stock up on the hand sanitizer last. BIG mistake!! The dispenser sat In a box for 6 months until I was able to get some Purell ES6 Hand sanitizer. Still no stand but I am just happy I was able to get the ES6 hand sanitizer during this time with COVID still ravishing the US. So I put it together and sat it up in my foyer. Two hours later it stopped working, the green light stopped flashing. I figured sitting in the box 5 months...batteries were week so I ran to my local Walgreens for new, fresh batteries. I put the new, fresh batteries in at 8a.m and by 8 a.m.the next day...24-hrs later IT STOPS WORKING AGAIN!!!!! So I go to Walmart and get another package of C-batteries. 24hrs later it stops working again. I can’t purchase batteries every day. Buyer be ware this dispenser uses way too many batteries. Now I have all of this had sanitizer and no reliable dispenser to us it. UPDATE: I wanted to take a moment to update my earlier statements. This dispenser does not need batteries every 24 hours. What it actually needed was a piece of duct tape placed over the batteries to stop them from slipping off the connector. Once I realized what was happening and applied the duct tape, I have had no need to replace the batteries. It works great! ... show more

    • No Quality Control
I ordered 2 of these for the home as a Christmas gift. No instructions in either box. Part missing from 1 of the boxes (the base to catch excess gel). Searched for a video for instructions and was able to assemble one of the kits. The adhesive is insufficient. I gave 2 stars because I like Purell hand sanitizer. Once one of the kits were completely installed, it worked fine. I have to return the other kit with the missing part. In summation, quality control was thrown out the window. Fix that, and it’s a pretty good product for hands-free sanitizing. I’ve read other reviews and missing instructions and missing parts seems to be the overall theme. Again, hire some quality control or don’t disseminate a returned product in an attempt to pass it off as new. ... show more

    • Don’t Try using adhesive
Tried using the adhesive strip included and it fell! Once we screwed it into the wall there was no issues. Every now and then the sensor does go off on its own so it’s handy that it has the part that catches the overflow.

    • Best Dispenser I've Found
I recommend this dispenser, it is the best model I've found. It is very easy to install and to replace refills. It works exactly as expected. Having said that I would like to see a way to adjust the volume of product dispensed. That applies to every dispenser I've used. I don't know if I have unusually large hands but I always have to use run my hands through this and every dispenser of this type to get an adequate volume of product. They all say that they dispense the proper amount of product but at least for me they do not. I understand they try to maximize the number of uses per refill but I would prefer to be able to control the volume dispensed to fit my needs in my offices. If they added that feature this would be my highest recommended five star dispenser. ... show more
