The folds of the filter still allow for some great airflow as a fan, and in a country that is nearly double in air pollutants compared to the USA, the filters have enough surface area to catch a lot of crud for a long time, however moondust still get through but that finds ways to get inside of sealed optics given enough time so hey, it not possible to filter everything. I'm very happy with my purchase. I use one in my car and another in my bedroom. I liked that it came with the HEPA air filter installed. BUT make sure to remove the HEPA filter when you get it, , take the plastic wrap off it and reincert it , BEFORE using the unit.

    • Very small and not sure where it would get the job done
Purifier & filter are even smaller than I expected. Does not do the job in my truck where there’s odor from wet sand and dirt that get up down in molding & up under plastic flooring (it’s an uncarpeted 2004 Chevy Silverado basic model). Takes quite a while to charge in between each full night’s use too. Very easy to use. It’s about the right size for camping in a single or 2 person tent, but I doubt it filters out mold from damp campgrounds well. Nor would it filter well the off gassing of a new tent. Perhaps it’s okay in a work cubicle I don’t know. Or an old time phone booth lol - they still have those anywhere? Rural towns here? European countryside maybe? ... show more
