    • No more disposable puppy pads ever!

I love this product! It is super absorbent, beautiful, and washes well without fading. I have used washable pads before but they were grey with black dog bones and disguised soiled areas causing many unfortunate missteps and shoe scrubbings due to our chihuahua's ability to deposit his messes strategically on the black bones catching us off guard when carrying things and forgetting to diligently watch where we were going. I had tried using even the most highly rated disposable pads and it seemed, after the initial purchases, the quality of pads received went down quickly to near useless making me wonder more than once if those companies keep two different supplies on hand, one for new customers to get them hooked or to subscribe to monthly shipments and a second cheaper subpar supply to send after the first few purchases. All eventually leaked straight through to the wood floors and seemed to get noticeably thinner over time. I have a large Chihuahua and he wet right through disposable pads, but these washable pad never leaked a drop even when left for three days. They didn't smell either and look like throw rugs so are not embarrassing to place in plain sight. No one who has come over knows they are potty pads. I have wasted two years trying to find a disposable brand that stands up to a small dog and it has cost me $50.00 per month plus time and cleaning supplies for the multiple daily run offs and leak throughs. No more! Get washable pads and simplify your lives and save your money that is wasted on non useful, non ecological paper and plastic bio waste. These pads are perfect, work great, don't cause puddling or wetness to be tracked by your pet through the house, and look amazing. I was hesitant to buy these because they are pricey, but I can't control my dog whizzing in the apt against the wooden dresser when I'm away. My little Stringbean just doesn't get the dresser is made of wood, but is not a tree. I have these covering the dresser when I'm away and problem solved. They are super absorbent, look beautiful, don't smell, and easy to wash. I've bought many whiz pads, they all end up smelling bad. These don't. Don't know why, but am happy to have found them. I bought 2 of the square one in the orangish medallions a couple months ago, and really loved how well these hide the fact they are pee pads. They look nice, are surged around the edges, and seem of nice quality. The square ones experienced some minor fading on the orange part, but otherwise work well. When I bought and finished my boys’ roof deck houses, I decided to get the smaller rectangular blue medallion pads, as seen in my photos. I overlapped both mats to get the coverage length I wanted, and I absolutely love how it looks and how it fools everyone into thinking it’s just a rug. One of my chihuahuas prefers to eat on his roof deck, so these pads make sure food (or dribbles) aren’t going through the deck into their beds below. They are just thick enough to provide weight so the corners stay flat, seem pretty darned durable so far, and doesn’t slide around as the pads have the little nonslip underside. The decorative side is a fabric, not a pile like rug, so it is easy(er) to spot clean. I have also purchased 2 of the gigantic 72x72 blue medallion pads, which I be placed on the floor under their playpen area this weekend. When the little one gets mad he sometimes marks things in the area, not to mention the water bowl sometimes gets tips if they are wrestling, so knowing my cheapo flooring isn’t getting drenched is the plan. I haven’t had to wash the blue medallion sets yet, but I suspect there will be some minor fading like the orange ones. Not a deal breaker for me since a faded version of this still looks a billion times better than pee pads 😂 I can’t recall the washing instructions off the top of my head, but I did follow them (temperature setting, air dry), and I opted to wash with baking soda only, since that is what I normally wash my dog stuff in. I have sprayed some enzyme cleaner on the orange pads I bought for my mini Aussie puppy, just for spot treatments and it seems fine. They have not smelled like puppy piddle after washing (enzymes? baking soda? both?) These could set you back a little more than other washable pee pads, but the appearance was worth the few extra dollars it cost me. An animal having or intentionally making accidents indoors just plain sucks but we can all take solace knowing that someone invented washable pet pee pads because WE ARE NOT ALONE! Get your bit of camouflaged peace and fear not the shame as your secret will be safe(r) unless you forget to wash them or tell on yourself when you have company. ... show more
