My wife and I are both 80 years plus and stooping over to find that item in the back of the cabinet makes our bodies creak and groan a bit. Bending completely over to actually see what I am looking for just doesn't work so I end up feeling around where I think the vegetable oil should be. A lot of space is wasted trying to scatter things around and keep the most used items in front. This Pulloutator was offered to me at no cost by the seller in exchange for my evaluation. I had purchased a similar product for another home years ago and knew how useful slide out shelves are so I jumped on the opportunity. The previous slide out were well-made wooden boxes from a woodworker's supply. They were mounted on a wood platform which you simply screwed down to the cabinet bottom. I'd been looking for something similar for a while and the Pulloutator looked like it would fill the need. When I opened the sturdy box, I could see it appeared to be well made and of heavy construction. The 11" x 21" was ideal for my problem cabinet. I had previewed the installation instructions which were quite clear, legibly printed on quality paper. A full size mounting template for the mounting screw placement (4 of them) was great! I oiled up my creaky knees, rounded up the very few tools needed, put on my knee pads and got to work. My planning was good as I got the holes drilled, the shelf rails screwed down and the basket in place in one 15 minute session. I added 2 extra screws to the front before my drill battery went down. I can do the back without removing the shelf but will have to move some of the items. They recommend the extra screws as when the shelf is fully extended, there would be quite a bit of leverage pulling at the screws. I managed to get myself erect again, snapped a few pix while loading the shelf and stepped back to admire my installation. The Pulloutator met and exceeded my expectations. It was easy to install, utilizes the space in its footprint very efficiently and glides in and out very smoothly. The telescoping ball-bearing shelf slides bring the entire shelf's contents out for easy viewing and access. I am going to recommend it to my family if they need easy access storage.

This is a good-quality shelf. My wife has been asking for this for years so I finally got one. It does give better access, especially to those really deep items. But there is something you should plan for. You will have less space overall. The description says you need 12" width of clearance. My cabinet opening was about 11 1/2" so I was hoping it would work. But you actually only need 10 3/4" of width. But no less! Now that means that your actual pullout shelf space is about 9 1/2" wide. Similar reduction in the shelf depth. So that's the trade-off for convenience. Something else you want to make sure of is that the back end of your shelf is very secure and won't pop up on you when you pull the drawer out. I installed an L-bracket I had laying around to make sure of this. Otherwise the installation is super simple. The cardboard template makes it really easy. I taped it in place just to make sure. When you pop the shelf in, you will think it is pretty stiff. Just pull it in and out a few times and that will move the bearing oil around a little bit and it will be easier to use.

This is a truly heavy duty and sturdy all metal pull out storage shelf. Good quality with smooth chrome finish. It comes unassembled with two slide rail casings and the shelf itself. I wasn't quite expecting to have to drill holes in my cabinet in order to attach the rails but am able to get around that by using strong double sided sticky tapes which takes much less effort and it works, as the sliding mechanism works well and the shelf glides in and out easily and doesn't seem to dislodge the tapes. This is a much more economical way to add a gliding shelf to your kitchen cabinet. Now I don't have to crawl all the way into the back of my cabinet every time in order to find things hidden in the back. Only thing is the size is not quite accurate - I got the 11"x21" but the actual tray size is only 10"x21", it's only 11" wide when including the rails - so a bit disappointed as the tray is not as wide as I expected and as a result a bit narrow to hold some of the items I had in mind.

I ordered this because I've been meaning to install something under my sink to utilize all the space, and this pull out drawer made that happen. It was super simple to install. Now if I want something from the back of the space all I have to do is pull the drawer in the bottom out, nothing could simpler. No more having to hurt my back to reach for stuff in the back corner! The construction on these are good and sturdy as well.
