I am not fashion forward woman, so I really wanted to like these, although they are not the prettiest. I just wanted a basic shoe because I workout at least 5 times a week, with the majority of that running, so having good shoes is very necessary to avoid injury. And yes, I have had previous injuries related to poor shoe quality, especially on concrete. Don't get me wrong, the best pair of shoes doesn't necessarily have to cost the most. However, I tried something different with these and was not pleased with the final verdict. It started out really great the first couple times I wore them. It went downhill after that! They started leaning and feeling like they were worn down like I had these shoes FOR YEARS! Just that fast! One day they were serving their purpose, and the next day they were uncomfortable and giving me foot pain on the side of my foot, which I had to take ibuprofen and get thoroughly massaged to stop the foot pain. I still have them as a backup because I bought them and I've worn them, but this was not a good shoe to invest in. This was money wasted. I should have stuck with the same shoes I've been buying from Amazon. I had to turn around and purchase a couple pairs of those anyway. At the same time, I won't be buying these again.
