The wife uses this for our vegetable and herb garden, which is about 400 square feet. She loves it. I broke our last small trowel; the weld snapped between the handle and the blade. This one will have no such problem. It is simple, with one piece of stainless steel. So far, no rust and no bending, despite the hard clay. I will say that good gloves are a good idea with this. Because it is a single piece of stainless steel, it can be a little slick, especially with muddy or sweaty hands. I wouldn't mind some texture on the handle to aid in grip, but I used it to help put in some landscaping timbers, and with leather gloves I had no problems. ... show more

    • Good looking and feel but not strong enough
Very good design on look and feel, the handle almost feels like the liquid metal similar to that of the iPhone exterior; however, when I inserted this shovel around the weeds, got more deep underneath of the weeds, and I tried to unroot them one side at a time, the handle would bend, so it's been 3 occurrences, I am not sure how many times this can happen until the handle would be broken due to metal fatigue. Notice, every time it was bend, I had to bend the shovel the other way, so now it really has been 6 times. But what can I say about Price vs Quality, I really need to think about it. ... show more

I like to leave my gardening shovel out in the yard. This has nothing to rust or rot. It is a great little shovel.

I like this trowel, however I realized after using it for the first time, that I really need a trowel with more curved edges for the type of gardening/planting I do. It's really comfortable to hold and is very study. It is a good trowel.
