They retain military standards but have custom features you won't find in standard issue military shirts. Liked the zippered vertical pockets to stuff my keys, phone, etc. into. This is a fine "overshirt" that works well, especially for an overweight guy like me. It's light and airy, which is critical to me in the hot summer months.

I love this shirt! It's both good-looking and functional. I can't get enough of them, so I buy them in bulk at Propper's website when Amazon is out of them. When I'm only buying one, Amazon's Propper store has reasonable prices when my order has free shipping, but because of those affordable prices, Amazon's Propper store may run out fast or charge almost double for a popular size and color. I wash mine on my high-efficiency washer's causal cycle, so it's always wrinkle-free. ... show more

I initially bought this for my dad. With his arthritis he can't fiddle with buttons anymore so the zipper front is great. Bonus : the chest pockets look like they're button closure, but it's Velcro!! Another bonus : behind each chest pockets is another pocket! With zipper closure!! Seriously my son wants one too. (Men & their pockets, am I right?) The only thing I would change is the length - way too long. But everything else so is perfect, I'm not docking a single star. ... show more

I bought this shirt for wear during the (Texas) spring and summer. I already own two long-sleeve Propper shirts, which I really like. I like the zippered front and all the pockets.
