My son is in the ROTC and needed a new dress shoe for an event that he was going to. These came quick and fit great. He had them on all day and did not get a blister. He made the comment that they feel as good as his older ones that he had for a couple of years. Likes the fit.

Bought these shoes for a wedding. Corfam material is high shine with low maintenance. Scuffs are easy to buff out without polish. But I suppose it's popular now. At the wedding, I hadn't seen that many corfam shoes outside the military. So if you're looking for something unique, this ain't it. I have to order wide shoes, and these fit well. I also have to add inserts, and these shoes accommodated that as well. The only problem I found was with the top edge of the shoe at the heel. Like too many shoes, it is too stiff and rubs the back of the foot above the heel. It's stiffer than your usual leather shoe and will take more time to break in.

I’ve been using Bates for the last 15 years and for some reason, they’ve become harder to find and the quality has diminished throughout the years. These are great looking shoes! And can’t beat the price. They def run small so size up 1/2 a size. I wear them daily for work so we’ll see how long they last, but I’m very pleased at the moment.

Bought these shoes a year ago after the Chicago police St. Jude march in May 2024. I am a police officer and wanted new shoes for this specific march every year. Bought a size 9 which is what I wear for every shoe I own. Went to try them on for the first time on 4May25 and they weren’t even close to fitting. They are brand new and never been worn. Was wondering if possible to return for larger size. Not a refund. Thanks for any consideration. Only rated a 3 star because the size is way off. But the shoe looks great

I bought this shoe for my job as a bus driver. It's is very shiny and looks good. I immediately was impressed by how it fit comfortably. I can walk around and feel comforted with a lot of soft underfoot feeling. I will not expect a long life under rugged conditions but for the job I am doing bus driving, this is a great choice. I should add.... all my shoes are size 12 Wide..... So I bought a 12 Wide in this shoe.... What I found was that the labeled shoe size is NOT true to the size chart, so beware when choosing your shoe... so I returned and exchangedthe size 12 Wide and for a size 13 wide and the shoe fits very comfortably. I cannot express just how comfortable this shoe is.... I am very pleased with it. For the price and have this much comfort is unbelievable.... I won't be wearing this shoe under any rugged daily use.... so I cannot say for sure how long this shoe will last..... I have shoes that have lasted me 16 years......... so comparing this shoe to those would be unfair. I just needed something that looked good and smart and comfortable and attractive too..... My 5 star rating might be generous. I rated it 5 stars because for the price and to have this much comfort, I'll give it 5 stars. I am that pleased with this shoe..... If I was buying a pattern leather shoe for formal wear, I 'd have bought something different and probably much more expensive.... but this shoe does the job for me... thus my 5 star rating
