I've been using my Promixx daily for half a year, and it continues to impress. The battery life is far better than I expected; even with regular use, I only have to charge it maybe once a month. The plastic blade is more durable and effective than it looks. Overall, it just does exactly what it's advertised to do. The only negative, at least with my particular unit, is that it's not 100% leakproof. If I mix a drink and let it sit for an hour, there's no problem. I truly like this bottle it’s very convenient. I use it everyday and charge it once a month. It blends up protein super well and the only bad part about it is that the plastic is very weak especially the lid. So if you drop it and it lands on the lid it’ll crack.     • PROMiXX iX-R looks cool, is handy, and working great

This PROMiXX iX-R has been great to date. It has an intelligent design and is easy to clean, use, and to recharge when necessary. I'd purchased an earlier version of the PROMiXX several years ago and this one is about twice as powerful. It holds a good volume of fluid and liquid and mixes the content of protein shakes quickly and really well. The vortex action in the liquid draws the content from the surface down into the plastic blades for thorough mixing. Don't even need to put the cover on when mixing as nothing flies out of the top. I also like that the cup has measurement marks to track how much you're pouring into it which is convenient if you're controlling intake. I just sit it on the counter, fill the cup, press the 'On' button, and let it run about 10 seconds. All good. I generally use it every day. Lately, I'm filling it with pasteurized liquid egg whites, cold spring water, chocolate or vanilla whey protein powder (maybe some ground cinnamon in the vanilla!) and it yields a really smooth protein shake. I don't think it's intended for ice or heavier contents like fruit. I may give it a try for quick and easy scrambling of eggs. ... show more

As long as it worked I loved it. Then it went dead. No I did not drop it, I just used it for dry fruit and veggie powder. Then it went dead. Won’t charge or run, just like that. I contacted the brand’s customer service thru some Amazon assistant, have not heard from them. Buyer be aware Update: I received a text from the company that they would send me a new one. I’ll update this review when that happens Update: late March, and have not received the promised return Update early April. Seller got in touch with me and offered to send me a new one or a full refund and I chose the latter. Seller was proactive in resolving the issue and I’m pleased. ... show more

Well I did love it. Great mixing power, nice and quiet for a tiny little mixer, compact, only downside…not acetone resistant. Yeah I know what you’re thinking “why didn’t it come with a warning?” So here I am, do not fill your sink with acetone and forget about it, then think it’s just normal water and put the cap in it…smh. ... show more

So far, it’s been flawless at mixing my pre-workouts and even protein powders. I love that you can detach the battery and use it a cup. I do wonder about the flimsy plastic mixer. Hopefully that won’t break anytime soon.

I wasn't sure about spending $30 on a shaker but I use mine between 4-6 times a day. That is a lot of shaking and cleaning of components. This cup is easy to clean and is basically just like a regular cup with lid when it comes to cleaning it. The holder for your protein or pre/post is nice and makes life easy if your on the go. the cup is pretty cool looking as well and feel durable. you can tell its going to hold up and not fall apart on you. I like it as well because it mixes things a lot better and thus you don't get any of the build up at the bottom from everything not completely mixing. Also ensures protein is mixed very good and makes it smoother. I read a few reviews about the mixer being plastic and if it would hold up of not. First, yes it is plastic but there is nothing wrong with that. Shouldn't be a issue unless your jamming a cleaning tool inside of it when you wash it. Then it might break at some point. Now for one of the biggest questions I saw- Can you mix ice in it? The answer to that is yes but I wouldn't try it with thicker ice. I have a ice machine that makes ice like the sonic ice. After I mix the drink I add a scoop or 2 of that ice and then lightly push the button and it mixes it at about 50% power. Works great and i have no worries about it breaking the mixer. That type of ice breaks up easy versus the solid made ice that probably could damage the mixer. Overall its a great mixer and worth the money. You will get some comments about being lazy and if you don't use a shaker multiple times a day then it probably is lazy but who cares if you like it. ... show more

Overall the Promixx works well. There are, however a couple of things that should be improved. - The overall shape of the mixer makes it very unstable, whether the mixer motor is attached or not; therefore it tends to tip over upon even the slightest disturbance. It would be helpful if the bottom of the mixer were wider so it would not tip over so easily. - Likewise, the storage cup in the top of the mixer is also very easy to tip over when it is set down by itself outside of the mixer. Here again, if the bottom of the cup were made flatter and wider, it would be more stable and less prone to falling over and spilling its contents. ... show more
