I currently have a BenQ 4k projector. HT2550. Have had it 3 years and it’s amazing. I also paid $2000 for it. This $90 project is wonderful for the money! First one was a gift for my best friend’s birthday in mid-November. I’m sure he’ll love it. The image is clear, edge to edge, bright enough in a light controlled room. Decent sound and the fan noise is quite low, not really noticeable. I don’t know what the longevity of this projector will be but if it last it’s one hell of a good deal. By the way, I’ve owned many projectors in my life and this one beats all but my current one. Update: I was so impressed with projector I ordered one for myself. I couldn’t resist. My second one arrived but I could not get the image sharp through out the entire image. If this one had been the first one I would have returned it and written a bad review but I decide to give it one more try. The replacement came in a day. It was every bit as good as the first one. In fact I’m watching a Prime series called Bosch Legacy right now. It is infinitely watchable. Even being spoiled by my 4k BenQ, I can watch this! Hard to believe such quality from a sub $100 projector. Color me impressed! ... show more

I bought this at the same time as a slightly cheaper projector, and this one is MUCH better. Specifically, I bought this to rear-project holiday videos/scenes on/through the window in the front of my house. For that, the picture quality is pretty good, and the keystone adjustment capability meant I could place the projector in a convenient spot not directly in front of the screen and still make it look good and the entire picture in-focus. The fan is relatively quiet (especially compared to the cheaper one). Not sure I would recommend this for indoor home theater use. Outside, it would probably be fine, as would using it for a business presentation. I didn't test the Bluetooth audio, but I suspect there is enough lag to destroy any movie-watching experience. It seems like a pointless feature to me, unless you're projecting a video with music or some other audio content that doesn't require being in-sync. If using for this purpose, you'll want to wire it to your audio system/speakers. Overall, though there are slightly cheaper options, I think the extra $20-$30 really makes this the better value. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is my second projector, with the previous one being another Wimus projector that is currently going strong in the "movie room". I have to say this one has increased functions from phone mirroring, more ports, and sharper images. I was surprised how much better this projector is compared to one I bought three years ago during the pandemic. The projector is smaller, and compact making it perfect for me and my use as an portable outdoor projector. The speaker is loud enough to fill the room and has the expected tingy base from being a built in speaker. I was able to plug and play with the projector in less than ten minutes. The settings to video outputs and sources was very intuitive. The cons of the projector is that it doesn't come with batteries, fan runs a little loud in a silent room, and the remote control seems to require direct line of sight to operate. The pros is easy hook up to the fire stick for Netflix, YouTube and other streaming apps. Picture is vibrant in a dark room, and less vibrant in a room with dim lights. I had no issues with either setup. For the price, this is a very affordable and functional projector that is sure to bring hours of movies, sports and mindless entertainment. This is my 2nd Wimius brand projector and this one has some really nice features packed into it. I really like the iOS screen mirror function that this one has. It also can do android phones as well. It’s nice to not have to rob a tv of its fire stick or Apple TV every time we want to use this. The speakers on the unit are pretty good for what it is. I usually connect an older Bose wave radio to the projector for sound, but this one now has Bluetooth! I can connect headphones or even better, a Bluetooth speaker. It comes with a nice soft shell case with organizer so everything fits and doesn’t move around. As you can see on my pictures, I did a test in my dining room. 2nd picture is with the lights off and 3rd picture is with the chandelier on, and you can still see the picture. This projector is a great deal for the person looking to get into projectors for an outdoor space or even a small movie room and they don’t want to shell out a lot of money.
