These are not real project X shafts. They are extremely similar and mass produced. The shaft is still good and will give you the stiffness you are looking for.. these are more mass produced for irons and people cut them down. A real driver project X shaft has a stamp by them at the top and they are $250-$350. These do not and are under $100. None the less.. this shaft is stiff and not awful quality. ... show more

Kept hitting 270 yard slice now hitting 270-280 nice and straight should of done this sooner

    • Not made for top end swing speeds
This shaft is meant for high swing speeds, but it’s been anything but. I’m a 6.8 handicap, I admittedly have extremely high swing speeds. I’m a former professional baseball player and my swing speeds with the driver range around 125mph-130mph. This shaft has broken on me twice in less than 18 holes… very disappointed with its performance. Just getting my money back and buying a tour level shaft. Although they claim to these shafts are consumer shafts and simply cannot handle the stress that tour level swing speeds bring. ... show more

My friend and I both purchased this shaft, and they both snapped at the head within the first week. Contacted Project X and they said their shafts are in the $250-$350 range and anything lower than that is either severely used, or fake. You don't have to believe me but you will once your club head flies further than your ball does on the course. Cheers. ... show more
