TL/DR: Recommend! Very good lamp at a great price! Power may be overstated but it’s still more powerful and dries gel polish faster that the USB-powered lamps. Also, Fix for tacky base coat included below. 

I recently started using the Beetles brand gel nail polish, and as others have observed, the base coat is tacky regardless of how long it’s cured. I assumed my UV/LED lamp was underpowered, so bought this more powerful unit. Same result; the base coat remained tacky, so it’s more likely the base coat and not necessarily the lamp. 
HOWEVER, I noticed that the color and top coats cured much more quickly and completely with this lamp as compared to my older USB-powered lamp. That’s most likely because it has more than 3x the number of LEDs and a 48 watt power supply. So, I’m definitely keeping this unit, and it wasn’t that expensive, either. Observations: 
With 66 LEDs vs. the 18 in my old lamp, color and top coats cured quickly and well under this new lamp. - It’s advertised as a 288 watt lamp; that may be what it’s capable of, but the included power supply is only rated for 48 watts (24 volts at 2 amps). Still, it’s way more than what I had, and appears to work well. 
 *Definitely use gloves to protect your hands from the UV light. A 6 mil or thicker nitrile glove with the finger tips cut off just enough to expose the nails works fine. - The preset time button labels appear to be upside down, but I suspect it was meant to be used by a professional nail artist sitting opposite their client while working on their nails. - Quality and build seem good, but I’ve only used it twice. I’ll post a longer-term updated once I’ve used it for a while. 
FIX for Tacky Base Coat. Some research suggests that the base coat is supposed to be tacky to promote better adhesion with the color coat; others indicate it should be fully dry before applying color coat. 

 After exposing the base coat multiple times to ensure curing, I simply wiped off the excess from each nail with acetone, and then quickly rinsed with cold water to stop any further chemical reaction. The base coat was left smooth and hard, and ready for color and top coats. This lamp worked perfectly for curing both color and top coats thoroughly. ... show more

I think this lamp is amazing it dries everything so fast and I had three coats of polish on and a top coat and it dried everything very fast. I'm impressed. I read a lot of reviews and there are a lot of negative reviews but so far so good.

This item did not do what was promised. It did not dry any of the 3 products that I tried on my nails, thus a lot of waisted dollars. I have missed the return date and am very unhappy.
