1.0 out of 5 stars | Product will malfunction and not be covered by the company.
Size: Large
I purchased the knee pads less than two weeks ago. I have used them twice and fell one time while using them. They held up nicely! My complaint about these knee pads is that the strap just mysteriously fell off. So I can no longer use the knee pad as intended. I emailed the company through amazons contact info and received an email back saying they don’t warranty the product and that boarding is a rough sport so basically deal with the issue yourself. In my opinion owning these for such a little time and using them twice should be covered by the company I bought them from. Now they’re telling me to contact the manufacture. Wouldn’t recommend buying these to anyone that may have a problem with the product falling apart at some point due to situations out of your control.

3.0 out of 5 stars | Comfortable and protective
Size: X-Large
The pads fit great, and I barely notice that they are on. That's because of how comfortable and non restrictive they are made. They offer excellent protection. I'm able to get right back up after a fall without any harm. I have fallen more than 20 times in the last 2 months with these pads. I downhill longboard. The only reason for 3 stars is that the right knee pad ripped and now the foam is sticking out. The amount of protection and comfort really deserve 4 or 5 stars, but I'm bummed out about the tear. I'll either try to sew it or buy another because I wouldn't dare try longboarding and sliding down hills without protection. Abrasions, lacerations, and fractures hurt. With these pads, I'm confident I'll be okay and not have to regret not having pads on.

4.0 out of 5 stars | Great set of pads, but understand what you're buying.
Size: Medium
These are an excellent set of affordable, low impact pads that are great for those just getting in to roller sports, starting out with using pads, or wanting protection from ground level falls. However, if you're wanting protection from high impact situations such as knees slides or long falls to the elbows, then you'll likely want to look for something with better protection. After roughly 4 months of hardcore use (7 hours a week minimum) skateboarding on ramps (between 4 and 12 ft tall), the knee pads have definitely stared to show signs of wear, with one pad having a snapped strap buckle (which is fixable with a little super glue but has broken more than once) and a cracked cap, and the other having rips exposing the liner. The liner is also compressed heavily towards the middle on both, and doesn't provide as good of protection as it did when it was new, but still works. I should point out that this is the result of heavy impacts at high speeds (knee sliding on a 10 ft vertical ramp, for example) so they will likely hold up pretty well if you plan on using them for less "intense" riding. The elbow pads have held up great, but admittedly haven't taken nearly as much abuse as the knee pads. They've definitely help prevent some nasty "swell-bow" regardless. Both pads fit quite comfortably, but, like most pads, can ride down when sliding, so a set of gaskets or wearing tight clothing under neath them isn't a bad idea. Overall, I would easily recommend these to anyone look for a great set of light, comfortable pads to get started with. But, be prepared to replace these somewhere down the road, either with another set or something more heavy duty, such as 187 Killer Pad Pros.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Very Pleased with these pads. Great quality, light weight, low profile, non-abrasive and stay put.
Size: X-Large
For me at 210 lbs 6 foot normal legs and arms the xl pads fit perfect. If I was 185, and I have been I assure you, I would still get the xl pads and they would fit the same. As far as I can tell from the research, there are very few pads on amazon which actually fit an adult and these are the only ones at a reasonable price. I have used them every day this week with no issues. I'm 47 and riding an all wheel drive super aggressive electric skateboard. I'm still a big kid and in my younger years we didn't really wear pads at all and certainly not helmets. We were stupid, I'm all padded up but with these low profile pads i just put on large pants and a jacket and I'm good. They actually look cool too.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Good pads
Size: Large
Protection... better than most pads out today. I have had them save me a few times skating the ramp/skatepark Size... I have chicken legs and calves. Went with a large even though I am 5'11" and 190lbs. Most people said to go bigger but it's about your leg size, not your total weight. Top velcro fits perfect. Bottom is slightly loose.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Top-notch protection
Size: Large
I bought these for my son when he started long boarding recently. I have 187 Killer pads but couldn’t get them in his size with Prime so I went with these as I know Pro-Tec makes good products (have several of their helmets). These are just as plush as the 187s and protection seems on-par as well. I knew I had to get something comfortable or else my son would not wear them and these fit the bill. They are well made (stitching is great), fit well, and most importantly provide great protection. Don’t cheap out when it comes to pads, paying a bit extra for a quality product is well worth it.

1.0 out of 5 stars | Deceptive Photos! Does not include Wrist Guard!
Size: Medium
I usually don't fall for this kind of garbage, but the photos clearly show knee, elbow and wrist guards, but the package does not include the wrist guard. Photos also show a close up of each, including the wrist guard - why do that if it is not included? Again, this set does NOT include the wrist guard. Of course, this is my fault, too, for not reading the fine print. But when comparing sets, it is easy to miss when just about every other company that shows all three in the set actually includes all three . Otherwise, they do appear to be quite good quality. The problem is I wanted the wrist more than any of the other 2, and figured I'd spend a few dollars getting all the pads, and use what I needed when I needed. But now I've spent the money and still don't even have the one that offers protection for the most likely injury from skating. Bad form, dude. I'm returning on principle.
