Vinyl can get really pricey. I love that this one is on the more affordable side. It cuts fairly well but does move around some on the backing if you aren't careful. I craft a lot and am always looking for good deals on vinyl. This matte black is fairly priced, looks nice, and adheres well. My machine had to cut through it twice on the regular vinyl setting, and I struggled to weed out small details, but it wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t use it again, just a little tougher than my usual brand. ... show more

I used this to make labels for my spice jars on my silhouette machine. The label and the setting to put into the design software, they were much different than the default but I changed it to those anyway. It did cut correctly but trying to weed was a bit of a pain. It lifted very easily from the backing so my letters would move out of place. I was able to get it done and attach them to my jars. So far they have adhered well without shifting or peeling. I ordered this permanent vinyl from Prime Vinyl in a matte black to use with my Cricut Maker 3. It comes in a 12" by 10' roll which works well with the Cricut. I like the matte finish on this vinyl. The vinyl and backing are good quality and thick. It cuts well and weeds easily. It also sticks as it should. There is a grid pattern on the back, but I can't tell what size the squares are. They are just over 3/8" square, so not as useful as they could be by being an even 3/8", 1/4" or 1/2". I didn't have great luck with a small intricate design. I lost several small pieces during the cutting operation, but the vinyl performed very well on other simple designs. Overall, this is a decent vinyl at a good price. ... show more

    • Very thin and rips and wrinkles easily

I got this to make some labels but it rips to easily when peeling the backing off. When doing larger decals it wrinkles up so you have to stretch it to get the wrinkles out and as mentioned before it rips if you try and do that. Not great but works in a pinch and a decent price. Just not for me.
