This charcoal base melts well, it looks great in soap, especially if you're after a more "masculine" look. I haven't had a chance to test it, personally, and have gotten no feedback as to whether it is moisturizing and /or addresses skin issues as charcoal is supposed to do. It comes unscented.

I bought this because of all the great reviews it had but once I melt it to its melting temperature and then add my oils/natural additives it hardens very quickly. the end result was a very pliable bar of greasy soap. will look at other brands as my customers shouldn't be receiving soaps that come out the way mine did with this charcoal melt and pour. and no I didn't add too much essential oil and I added a small amount of bentonite clay.

The pictures indicates it white color, even the instruction on it says “add color” so I thought the color would change once melted but not true, it’s dark grey and coloring it is a waste of time, sadly I tried a piece of it and melted some hoping the color would change, otherwise I would’ve returned it.
