Update: Only lasted 4 months. Only used half a dozen times. JUNK. However, the seller did send a replacement free of cost, which earned this 5 stars again for amazing customer service. This scale seems to be built heavy, but also appears to jump around and cannot settle on a number when weighing less than a lbs. When weighing heavier amounts, it settles perfectly. This is rather annoying, as half of what we do consists of less than a lbs weights. No sign of box damage or damage to the unit, seems to have come off the factory like this. We needed it bad enough though, that we cannot spare it to return for a new one to see if the replacement would have better luck.

This scale doesn’t have any indication of the NTEP certification on the scale itself. It has a bubble level and adjustable feet to ensure it’s level and comes with a hard plastic button protector.

Update: the company has a valid NTEP certificate again since 3/23. It was no problem getting it certified. We still have no response from the company re the computer interface, but most people will not need that. So I upgraded the rating to five stars for the product. =============================================== We bought the scale to be used on a farmers' market, meaning it needed to be state certified in NH. Turns out the NTEP certificate was real, but was not renewed for 2023. We contacted customer service a couple of times for this and for info about the computer interface, but got no response at all. The product itself seems to work fine.

I have the BT (battery) version. The battery died after a year. Not unexpected, but there is literally ZERO support. You can't just hop on Amazon and buy a replacement. You cant get one from the manufacturer. You should really click around their website. The only thing that works is the store. You can't actually register a warranty and there is NO support option other than an email.

We do a lot of gardening. We weigh a lot of produce and the scale has helped a lot. It goes from a 1.09 pound 1.59 to be exact. We do not mind giving a half pound extra to someone. Better to be a little over in case something is hard like okra.
