TL;DR This is a flattering, well made maxi dress. For under $40, it’s a five star dress. Value Rating 5 out of 5 stars. At $39.99, this feels like a strong buy. The fabric has weight, the texture looks elevated, and the overall construction feels better than what I usually expect at this price point. The jacquard texture gives it dimension, and the fabric feels thicker than I expected. It has a nice weight to it and doesn’t feel flimsy. The floral pattern is woven in, not printed, which makes it look more expensive than it is. The fit is very flattering. It skims over the midsection and hugs in the right places without feeling tight. I just got back from vacation and wasn’t feeling my absolute best, but this dress is forgiving in a way that makes you feel comfortable and put together. The elastic back helps it mold to your shape without digging in. I’m a solid size 4 and ordered a small. I would say it runs true to size, possibly a touch roomy because of the stretch in the back.
