This dress is very pretty in the dark navy blue, it flows well and actually feels heavy when it's not on. It falls low shin for my 5'4 frame and the medium is size apropriate. The only thing that needs to be considered is the square neck line- it can make a top heavy lady appear even more top heavy. The sleeves are very close to underarms so it could be a challenge depending on what bra you wear for the straps not to show. The elastic top is very stretchy and feels comfortable. Since I am only 5'4, I'm just not sure the neckline and shoulder cut is the most flattering for someone top heavy
