I think the style fits well due to my height and hourglass shape. I read the reviews and some women had issues with the top being a bit loose, and I can see how one might feel that way because I tried mine on without my bra and it felt a bit like that, but the overall effect is slenderizing and will fit better when I put on my strapless bra, which will add support. I'm getting a couple of skinny stretch snake belts (circa 1980s) to wear with it, so I can switch out shoe colors. I bought this in white, and the fuchsia. I wear dinner/cocktail dresses all the time on date nights, and this one is awesome!

My first impression of this dress taking it out of the packaging was that it was made well. The material was thick and stretchy. I’m 5’1” and a little heavy so it was not flattering on my body, but it’s a beautiful dress and very classy. I ordered it for a wedding and I think it’s a great choice for that occasion.

I purchased this dress for one of my bachelorette outfits and was really excited to try it on! As soon as it came, I tried it on and it was very flattering on top but the bottom, not so much. I'm 5'8 and a half, and the length of the dress was pretty short on me without wearing any heels. When I was just standing, the opening came right at my knees. When I sat down, if my legs weren't crossed, you could probably see everything. It could barely cover my legs when I was sitting and that was the reason I had to return it. Nevertheless, if you're shorter, this would definitely be a cute dress to wear! Aside from the length, everything else fit great! Very flattering top, comfortable material, my only issue was the length.

I docked a star for 2 reasons: 1) because the tag (like the clothing tag sewn into the dress) is done in such a way the stitching is clearly visible on the outside of the dress, not a huge issue, but someone standing close to you can definitely see it and 2) there are no loops to hang the dress. Being that there is only one over the shoulder part, it's not easy to hang. You need to get creative or have hangers with clips. Overall, this was my "reception" dress for my sister's wedding. It was comfortable, and I was complimented multiple times! One person even said "ooo what a sexy dress!" (She wasn't hitting on me, just a woman supporting another woman 😉) I'd recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, option for an event. I may even throw a blazer on and make it work for business. We will see. Either way, I have no regrets.
