Very pretty dress. Light enough for summer but not see-through. The cut of the dress did slightly emphasize my muffin-top but shape wear would have hidden that - it was only slight. 5’3” 177lbs. I tried both XL and L and the L fit perfectly. Overall it was flattering and I’m happy with it.

I was looking for a brown dress to add to my collection of black dresses. At first I didn’t like the cocoa color polka dots against the nutmeg color of the dress but after trying it on it adds some dimension and I’ve grown to like it. If you are unsure get a dark color where the dots match the fabric but the most important thing for me is the fit and comfort. This dress fits SO well! I am very tall so the waistband does not sit at my waist but the length is perfect (cocktail length) for what I wanted this summer. Material is not as sheer as I expected so I don’t need a tank or slip. It is slightly halter although you could wear a regular bra just fine. Fit is as expected. LOVE this dress.
