based on the sizing and reviews i got the large, way way too large, i got my regular size medium too large, got the small, perfect. 165 lbs, 5'4 38 bust, fits just right. it s a lightweight summery cotton like material (would need ironing, i think), , but not see through. I am in love with this dress. Got it for myself and it fit perfectly. It reaches close to my ankle which is exactly what I was looking for. I wore it a couple of times till now and it's extremely comfortable and warm. It is a bit hard to wear because the buttons are tough to get through the holes. It took me about 10 seconds to button each button same when I un-buttoned it. While it was hard to button it up I do like how the buttons don't randomly open when I'm wearing it because of how tightly secure they are. It would be amazing to wear in the fall or spring as those times are a bit chilly. wearing this on a hot day will certainly make me sweat. The stitching is also very straight and neat which really makes the dress look fancy. My favorite part of the dress are the pockets. Every time I've worn this dress I found the pockets to be one of the most useful features of the dress. the pockets are also pretty big and deep so I can easily slip my phone and a couple of other small random things with it. I also wanted to mention that the fabric quality is pretty great and the belt that it comes with is a nice add-on to the dress.

There are a few important aspects of this dress that don’t line up with the advertised pictures. For starters, the material seems different in person. I thought it was a going to be a little heavier, a better quality, and maybe have a little shine to it. Unfortunately, the material and the color are more dull in person, and the fabric doesn’t seem to be the same. Because of that, the shape changes, and it doesn’t create the same silhouette as I was hoping for. Also, the stitching is not nearly as pronounced as I thought it’d be. In person, you can barely make it out. There’s also supposed to be stitching throughout the belt, but it’s only on half of it. Speaking of the belt, the loop is supposed to be dark silver and square. But it’s actually bright silver and round. That’s not a major dealbreaker for me, but it’s just another thing that doesn’t match up with what’s advertised. I also think I should have gone for a smaller size. I ordered a medium, but it was kind of big. The belt saved from it looking like a sack on me, but I should have sized down in hindsight. The length was fine, and I do appreciate the pockets. So, there are some redeeming qualities to this dress. Otherwise, though, I was disappointed by the overall look. It’s not the worst dress in the world, but it’s far from my favorite. Better material and more pronounced white stitching would take this dress to a higher level.
