I unfortunately got the wrong size when I ordered this so it's way too big for me. Since I got this through the vine program, I can't exchange it, and I'm so bummed. I would love this dress if it fit. The material is actually very heavy and warm, but the neckline and back scoop pretty low, so if you wear this in the cold, you'd need a scarf. It's a very pretty dress but very old fashioned looking. I was feeling like I belonged in a Jane Austen film when I tried it on, but it is very pretty and fun to wear something more classic and feminine. I just wish it wasn't too big for me, so now I can't wear it!

I'm 5'6.5", 38" bust, 36" waist, 148 lbs. I have this in Large and it fit very well. This is a maxi dress, goes to your toes. There is no lining, but in this light blue with a black shaper on you can't tell. The neckline is not too low in front or back, just a little bra adjusting. It's light being 100% cotton but because there is so much material it's fine for Fall and Winter, and even cool Spring days. There are two pockets very well done on the side seams. The waist also comes just about to your natural waist, or a tad higher, it did not feel like an Empire waist like some other dresses like these. I was surprised how much I actually liked this on me over seeing it on the hanger. As a mature woman I don't have a tiny waist anymore but I think this compliments several body types and is very comfortable to wear. Oh, the sleeves are smocked elastic also so you can adjust to your liking. Good for all kinds of occasions.

Here’s why I gave this dress five stars: * this is a “step into it and pull it up over your hips and shoulders” kind of dress. Love it! * I like the formfitting bodice, with it’s shirring. * it has pockets!! * do you note that there are little eyelet dots all over the dress in a warm slightly golden green color. It looks very nice on the dress. * I love this style of dress. It is flattering to almost any body. * this is a size large. I normally fit into ladies US size 4 to 6, (5’2”, 110lbs) but I just can’t stand to have things too tight on me. Usually, ordering a size large works well for me. This is a little big, however. But that’s my fault. Still, I’m not going to send it back because it is so comfortable, and it really doesn’t look huge. This hits me in a nice spot at my waist so I won’t complain. BOTTOM LINE: this long dress is a great find for the fall! I think it is very reasonably priced for what you get.

The fabric and stitching are very nice. Ordered my normal size and it fit very well. The length in the sleeves and bottom are perfect for the overall style of the dress. The pictures in the ad don't show it very well, but there are raised "bumps" in the fabric. I like that, but wanted to note it in case you were looking for a smooth fabric. This is a very comfortable dress.

I love long dresses, and this one certainly fits the bill. The design makes it perfect for twirling, which I enjoy. The material is thin, but the dress has some weight to it, likely due to the elastic panel that forms the top part of the dress. There’s no iffy chemical smell. I ordered one size up because I didn’t want the dress to be too fitted. This size fits me perfectly, but I think a smaller size would have worked just as well, thanks to the elastic top that accommodates various chest sizes. This is a pullover dress without a zipper. It’s unlined and features two side pockets. I really love the length—it’s on the longer side, falling about two inches above my ankles. The sleeves are also longer, which is great for me since I have long arms; they reach past my wrists. It’s very comfortable and twirl-friendly. The only thing I’m unsure about is the dots on the fabric. For some reason, they make the dress feel a bit less elegant to me. For reference, I am 5’7” and 128 lbs. I’m planning to wear it next week for a short trip. I think this dress works well for early fall.

I am in love. I will own this in every color possible. It that good! I'm an 18 on top 20 on the bottom and it fits me like a dream. The smocked bodice and sleeves are so romantic and flattering. It's sits at the perfect upper ankle length for Autumn and winter (I'm 5'8"). The fabric is pretty heavy and the slub dots really elivate it beyond the polyester these dresses on Amazon usually feel and look like. Seriously buy it.
