So this skirt is like a corduroy material which I love. The material is thick but super comfortable and nice and warm which means I can wear it in the winter. Because of the cut of it I can also get away with fall and spring. I think it would be to warm for summer thought. I love the feel and quality of the skirt. I have a strange body type and this was very flattering. The size and fit was spot on. I got my normal size and I didn’t need to size up or down. Good value for the money.

Normally I’m a 6-8 for bottoms and I am very pear shaped (34-27-40). Luckily I followed the size guide and read reviews so I ordered up to a size 12, or 4 inches larger than my natural waist, to allow for some extra room. I’m glad I did, as the hips and thighs aren’t tight and I have about an extra 2 inches on the waist which I can easily belt. So the size chart is not quite true either and this is definitely cut for a curvier shape. The material is thick, warm and well made. The color is slightly redder than online, but I’m happy. It hits me at just below my mid calf and the slit goes to a few inches above my knee, perfect for a knee high boot. Overall, I’m happy with this skirt, but beware of the sizing and if you want a looser fit, add an additional size, as that worked for me.

I wanted to like this! I love the style, color and material. The quality is good. It’s got a great stretch to it and is very comfortable. However, it just didn’t flatter my body. I usually can get away with pencil style skirts but the zipper part is a tad too bulky for me, which made my belly look bigger. I started with my true size 10, but returned and got a 12, which was a much better fit but unfortunately I will be returning.

I love this skirt! The corduroy material keeps you warm and the skirt is flattering. I ordered a size up as the skirt itself is stretchy, but the waist is not and can be a little tight.
