The wrap at the waist makes me look smaller and hides the extra menopausal pooch. This is a great year around dress. I wish this company would make a v neck version with exterior block pockets and not side interior pockets and would be a perfect addition to buy more. Being 5'2" can often make it difficult to find a dress with the perfect length. This dress is absolutely perfect! It is incredibly flattering and the front tie hides my mama tummy. I bought it for our cruise and am considering getting another one in a different color. It is so comfortable and can be dressed up or down. UPDATE: I loved this so much I bought it in black.
