First of all, I am 57 and worried this might be "too youthful" for me - but no! This dress is absolutely stunning! I am hourglass shaped, 5'7 155 and wear a size 10 or 12 in a skirt or pants. I thought about getting a large - but at the last moment selected a medium. It fit perfectly! Very forgiving in all the right places - flutter sleeves, tie at the waist for definition (and the waist isn't too high like other dresses on here!), layered ruffles, but not frumpy - the slit makes it feel updated and modern. Some info - yes, it wrinkles, but is very easy to iron using steam setting. I ironed it on the bed at the hotel in 10 mins, no problem. The waist is a little fitted, so you're likely putting this on over your head (just for gals who like to step into a dress). I had no problem with the snap coming open. It is slightly low cut, but you could always layer something underneath to fill in the "v." There is a liner, so if the dress blows open a little, no worries at all, you're covered to just above the knee. I was walking down a boardwalk to the wedding ceremony and had many compliments - I think this dress is really flattering and flows nicely as your walking! The dress is flowy, like the store photos show, BUT not light chiffon, as it may appear - it has some substance to it. I was at an outdoor wedding in a forest where it started at 75 degrees and cooled off in the evening - it was perfect for this event, I threw on a wrap. If it was 90 outside, this dress would be heavy and hot. As for the color - this is the gray blue. Sometimes it looks darker or lighter, depending on the light. I'm getting a few more in different colors! Hope this helps with your decision.

The dress was just as described. It was very pretty and the perfect dress for a summer wedding. It fit well; I went by the size guidelines but also the reviews to get the right fit. The color was nice and very flattering. It was very comfortable, and the weight was perfect. I got many compliments on the dress. My only sort of complaint was that it was hard to get the wrinkles out even after I hung it up for a couple of weeks after I received it. The other thing was that the belt didn't want to stay in place because the fabric is slippery. Other than those two minor things, I love the dress and would recommend it to anyone.

Bought this dress to wear to a wedding in the blue color, and I love both the color and the material. It’s beautiful. You’d pay a lot more for this dress elsewhere. BUT, don’t be like me and read all the reviews of women sharing how the snap on the bust kept opening, and then not do anything about it before you wear it haha. I don’t have a large bust so I didn’t think I’d be a problem for me, but at least 4x during the wedding the snap opened, showing my bra. I will definitely wear this dress again, but I’m getting it sewn shut at the bust.

I bought this dress for a wedding and had so many compliments. The dress was so flattering and gorgeous, except for one tiny detail, every time I sat down the it snapped open. That was the only annoying part trying to snap it close every second once I was sitting. It happened a few times as well while dancing but mostly sitting, not sure if it’s because I’m big busted, other than that I do love the dress. I’d either have to wear a sexy cami under and leave it open or get a beautiful brooch to pin at front.

I was looking for a dress for a Kentucky derby party that wouldn't break the bank. This seemed to fit the bill. It came out of the bag very wrinkled but one I washed it and used a steamer on it, it looked great. I liked the material, it wasn't flimsy and had a nice weight to it. I ordered the large according to the size chart but I should have gone with the medium instead (5'4" 190#). The larger size made it a bit too long. I wore it with flats as we were standing all day. It would have looked better with wedges. The one thing that bothered me a lot about the dress is that there is a snap in the front at the neckline so you can keep it open ( I like deeper cut necklines to elongate my thick neck) or close it if you prefer not to show cleavage. Great idea except the snap is silver. I bought this dress in white and green. Wore the white dress to the party and I struggled with the snap showing. Cut it off and that was a huge mistake. Once I sat down the dress gaped horribly. Thank goodness I brought a wrap with me. DO NOT remove the silver snap, it serves a purpose. I wish they would have used a color coordinating snap. The belt that came with the dress is long and makes a nice knot/bow. Unfortunately the belt kept coming untied even when I double knotted it. So aggravating. Overall the dress is cute, nice material but the snap and the belt caused me to deduct a star.

The bride insisted that the red Matron of Honor dress have an irregular hem for the red-and-black themed wedding, and it was long in the back. Even though I am only 5'2", it required no tailoring. The wide ruffles acted as mini-capped sleeves, and the dress did not wrinkle in the 112° heat of St Augustine in August. It is a beautiful dress, very modestly priced, and I know I will wear it many times, unlike most such dresses. And it is cold water washable! Love it!

The dress itself is decent. Material wrinkles easily from package (have not washed or steamed it yet). My one complaint is that the front snap by the chest is not strong at all. I can snap it and simply breath and it will pop and undo itself. I could just take the snap off, but I may just return it as it may be a little too showy for the event I want to wear it to. (It does look much better without the snap buttoned if you've got something to show though! Otherwise the front ruffles overlap weird.)
