I ordered my normal size. I usually wear a normal 4 to 6 in American sized dresses. Amazon recommended a medium, but I have a small chest (32") with a 28" waist and size 37" in hips. So my concern about the small was it fitting my lower body. Luckily the fabric is stretchy for me at the top and there was plenty of room at the bottom and this dress is comfortable. The fabric doesn't feel heavy at all. I am 5' 3" and the length stopped just above my ankles. I have an athletic type build, which googling told me A-line dresses flatter my body type. I wore this dress for a spring tea party in the garden and for church in the evening. Everyone loved the dress and color green I picked. I paired it with some silver wedges and a silver purse. I would say my skin color is brown and I have a warm skin tone. Overall, I was very satisfied with this dress. Hope this helps someone.

I love brown! This chocolate-y dress is comfortable with vertical seams that elongate my neither long nor skinny body, so that’s a plus. The poly fabric is a nice weight, and the skirt isn’t clingy. The XL fit my XL frame. BUT, I can’t keep it, because the shoulders fit me strangely. They are just a little too wide, and the neckline is just a bit too high. Will keep looking.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. It is so flattering and the blue is such a pretty color. I’m devastated to have to return it because the length is not what I need. I’m 5ft 5 inches and 135 lbs and the length came to a few inches above my ankles and I hoped it would be more maxi. I can’t wear heels due to foot surgery and feel it would look better with heels than flats.

It can be paired with sandles, heels or boots. I had to go one size up, be sure to check the measurements. This dress has pockets. Be sure to read the washing instructions.
