First things first: the fit. This dress is, as noted by other reviewers, somewhat oversized at the top. It does have the type of rubber strapless bras have in place to prevent it from sliding. Still, it doesn't feel super secure. The rest of the dress fits as expected, maybe slightly, but just slightly large. In terms of length, it's pretty long on me. I would have to wear high heels with it for sure. I am 5'5, 130 lbs and got an S. Second: the color. My phone does not display this correctly in any of the pictures. It seems almost black in natural evening light and a beautiful turqoise under white electric light. Wish it would have been the latter, which is what the online pic displays, but it's really a dark green, darker than displayed. No shade of blue in there whatsoever. What disappointed me right from taking it out of the package was the fabric it's made of. Feels and looks like cheap polyester. Some ladies said it's high quality material, but didn't include pics, so here are 2 close ups. I know tastes/opinions on this differ, so you be the judge of that. I was shocked how much I loved this dress because I am not a bodycon girl. I’m usually a size 8/10, M for perfect. It’s stretchy and comfortable but a nice thick material so very forgiving. I’m planning on wearing it to a work gala.

As some of the other reviews have mentioned, this dress is very pretty but the fit in the bust isn't proportional to the rest of the dress. The lower half of the dress clings to my body, but the top part is loose and gaping. I could understand this if I had a pear shape body, but I have an hourglass figure and do not typically have issues with clothing fitting my lower half but not my upper half. The dress could be dressed up and down the size of it. It is true to size; It does have good stretch. it’s not as flattering on me as I would like it, but is still a good look you compared it with some dunks some type of high top tennis shoes or even dress it up
