It is very heavy, but worth it. Set up is very easy. I like that the leg height is adjustable. It fits perfectly inside my bed frame. It operates very smooth & pretty quiet. The presets on the remote are nice. The box was a bit torn by the time it was delivered but there was not one mark on the bed frame. The fabric around the edges is a nice neutral color.

Just unboxed my new Cal King Adjustable Bed Base and very amazed at how well packaged and pre-assembled everything was and the noticeable high quality materials from the solid frame, to electronic components to motor and fabric materials. Also, was amazed when purchased the base because the price was much better than the more costly and cheaper quality looking options, especially for a CALIFORNIA KING which unfortunately have to buy everything for a CAL KING online as your retail stores do NOT sell anything for Cal Kings in store other than shams which...pun intended is a Sham ;) As with the other reviews, YES it is VERY HEAVY and getting it up stairs is a task in itself, which would recommend 4 guys to do but we did it with 2 people up 16 carpeted steps. The unboxing is very easy with 2 strong people as all you have to do is open the box flat, twist on the 6 legs and then carefully coordinate the lifting onto its side and then lowering it into the final position you want it in your room and then connect the adapter to the plug which is neatly attached underneath and waiting for you on the very side of the base and then plug your power cord into the adapter and your plug into the wall and install the 3 batteries into the remote and wait for 30 seconds for the remote and electronics under bed to sync and you are done! Again, very impressed with the packaging and the pretty simple "plug and play" ease of set-up, but again recommend 4 guys to move boxed item to room of choice and ensure beforehand to have the area of where planning on putting clear of everything so can open box and lay bed base flat right there and then 2 strong people will be enough to move it into place once twist in the 6 legs on bottom. I will have to say, if you are planning on moving soon or current plans of location of the bed may change, then I would strongly recommend to wait until you plan on living for a long time and not plan on moving the bed for a long time, as again, this thing is HEAVY and I do NOT want to have to move this thing for years to come!

The media could not be loaded. First, I have to give Amazon's RXO Heavy Item Delivery a big thank you. It went to several locations prior to arriving here & was in perfect condition. The moment they saw our house they had determined that they would carry it upstairs for us if we needed the help. (we are 76 and 74 so we were so thankful and they were very nice!!!). After removing our box springs and regular bed frame which was a project in itself as we have a Tempurpedic mattress which had to be leaned up against the wall and not fall over . . . . we were ready to assemble it. We had a 50/50 chance to get the head of the bed frame facing the right direction when lifted out of the box. Well, we laid it out from the box and it was facing the wrong way (the electrical needed to be at the head of the bed). (SO, in addition to "this side up" a Front/Back or something would be helpful on the box) . . . . . . .We had minimal room to turn it around so we folded one side in partially and my husband muscled most of it while I drug my end along with him (1,2 3 .. LIFT). . . . . It was easy to assemble (just fold it out and screw in the legs . . . then attach the electrical) . . . . . and lift it up and lower down onto the legs and maneuver to the right location. We put the bar that holds the mattress on last. We were worried to lower it down with the legs sticking out but we did just fine. Heavy, YES. . . but we did it. Everything works perfectly. I love putting the mattress cover on with the head & leg portion raised up . . . makes changing the bed so much easier. The lights work and all of the buttons on the remote control work perfectly. The video attached I pressed FLAT and both the top and the bottom go flat. Really glad we made this purchase!!!

I searched thoroughly for the right bed at the right price. This bed met all my criteria. It adjusts the way I need it to, it vibrates my body when needed, and it was priced reasonably. My Nectar mattress works great. Just remember the mattress will not bend naturally with the frame at extreme angles, as is with all thick foam mattresses. It will conform to the frame as you lay on the mattress, but I don't use extreme angles in any case. It is primarily used to keep my head elevated for my sinus condition and to elevate my legs as needed for my blood flow issues in my legs. It is very heavy and well made. It will take at least two people to install it. I use the shortest length leg support to clear my bed frame to access the remote pocket and USB ports. Otherwise, it can be laid without any leg supports at all. I highly recommend this nice adjustable bed frame.
