This cutting mat has been a great addition to my crafting space. One of the biggest positives is that it does not slip nearly as much as my previous mat, which makes a noticeable difference when using a rotary cutter. The nonslip design really works well and helps keep everything steady. The surface feels durable and solid. It handles cutting smoothly, and the self-healing feature seems to be working as expected. After multiple uses, it does not show deep grooves or excessive wear. The measurement markings are clear and easy to read, which makes lining up projects simple and accurate. It feels sturdy without being overly thick or bulky. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the size. I do wish it was a little bigger for larger projects, but I knew the dimensions when I purchased it, so that is more of a personal preference than a flaw. I like this mat, mostly I wanted a smaller cutting mat as an alternative to my really big green one that I’ve had forever. I like the look of the black color, just feels more modern. I’ve had no issues with it, great price and came the next day. I’m happy!
