I Purchased because I needed to take an appetizer to a new card club and wanted something nice. I filled the main section with shrimp but then needed to fill the other two (middle was the cocktail sauce) sections. Keeping it simple I went with grapes and cheese cubes. Big hit. Shrimp stayed cold for as long as they lasted and the rest was good finger food for the evening. Lid is somewhat secure but learned to carry it without tilting. There was condensation on the counter under the container which I at first thought was leakage . Subsequently I ordered and sent 3 more as Happy Summer gifts to my adult kids. Oh, by the way, when it came I contacted the company because two layers of the dish were exactly the same. I called to see if I got two lids. This transportable chilled covered dish has all the amenities. When I was shopping for this one of my main concerns was how to carry withouta locking lid. This one is even better as the sides & lid are incorporated into the design. Perfect easy off & on interchangeable top/bottom. Big enough for a variety of foods. Best gift to friends with a new pool. We used it all weekend sometimes with ice in the bottom tray to keep fruit and charcuterie chilled! Next day we used it for brunch items like mini pastries, sandwiches and chips and salsa. Great gift item!
