We bought this gymnastics bar for our three kids to burn their energy during the long 2.5 week winter break :-) Having owned it for one week, the kids really liked it. Turned out to be a very worthy purchase. Here are some pros and cons of the product. Pros: 1. Very easy to assemble. You only need to fasten two sets of screws. One set for the base and one set for the top bar. It took me about 15 mins to finish the assembly. 2. Height can be easily adjusted. I really like this feature since my three kids are ranged from 5 to 10 years old. 3. All parts were carefully wrapped when it shipped, even the two adjusting screws were individually wrapped. 4. The mental structure and the fiberglass rail are in very high quality and sturdy. My 10 year old weighs 80+ lbs. The bar is very stable when she is playing. 5. The base is foldable and saves a lot of space when the kids are not playing. 6. Although not mentioned in the product description and images, the bar does come with a belly cushion. 7. The teal color is vivid and beautiful. Cons. We don’t really have any complaints so far. My warning for future buyer is that the product is pretty heavy. It takes two people to carry it from outside of the house.

Initially, I received a damaged kip bar in the mail, but I spoke with the PreGymnastics customer service representative, and a replacement was sent immediately. Their customer service was outstanding. My daughter loves her kip bar and uses it daily. It's great if you're looking for a piece of equipment that folds up and is easy to store away when not in use. The kip bar is rigid and well-built. I highly recommend this brand and its equipment.

Update to original review....seller reached out after seeing my review. They have great customer service and were genuinely concerned about my experience. Without me asking they offered multiple resolution options to make it right. I wasn’t expecting any of that and was very happy with my customer service interaction and the end result. I think my experience is probably not the norm and these things happen when dealing in large volumes. What counts is they came to me and made it right so they earn 5 stars. ****************old****************************** The construction is solid and the mat is good quality. It was easy to assemble and overall worth the asking price. It feels sturdy and I can’t imagine it not holding up to little girls working out on it. Only 3 stars because the bar is fiberglass and it irritated my daughter’s skin. I noticed loose fiberglass particles during assembly so I cleaned the bar before she used it. Unfortunately she still complained of burning and itching on her hands, arms, belly and legs. I also felt it in my hands from the assembly. It’s my understanding that higher quality gymnastics bars are typically made of fiberglass so I’m ok with that, but it should be prepped better before packaging and delivery to children. I’ll continue to rub and clean the bar and I imagine over time it will smooth out all the loose particles.

My 4 kids play on it constantly and it has definitely stood up to the challenge. It is pretty sturdy and the knob comes apart sometimes, but its easy to put back together. A great buy!

If your daughter or son is even slightly interested in gymnastics, has high energy, or just flips and tumbles around the house ALL day long then this bar is a MUST HAVE! Well built, sturdy, easy to assemble, adjusts to many different heights and keeps the kids entertained ALL DAY! My 5 and 6 year old (only one is in gymnastics) have used this every day since mid January. Shipping did take quite a while but that could have been due to Christmas or Covid or because I think it shipped from California...either way, it’s worth every penny we spent and I highly recommend it.
