My husband and I have been struggling to cut open yellow tennis balls to put on his walker. This is much much easier on our hands, not to mention our kitchen knives. However they are not as strong as your typical yellow tennis balls and will wear out much faster. For us it's worth replacing them more often to not have to deal with cutting the holes ourselves.

These are great! I wish I bought them sooner. They make sliding my chair a lot easier and quieter on my hardwood floor. They were also super easy to put onto the chair legs. These are much safer than using a knife or scissor on a regular tennis ball. I’ll be getting another set for another chair.

I thought it was interesting to see these on the feet of a friends dining room chairs, ordered from a different company. I would have never thought such a thing was made for this purpose. So I went looking and found these. Aesthetics aside ... these are amazing!!! I looked at the more stylish options but I was not sure they would fit the large, plank, legs my chairs have and ... I wanted something that I already knew had a good track record. I really love these however, they do come with their pro's and con's. Pro : * My chairs glide with ease! * There are a multiple selection of colors to suit any needs. * They're a great conversation piece. * They are staying on solid! No wobbly or loose tendencies ... none! Cons: * They are a booger to get on! The balls are cut with a large "X" to insert the leg into but it took a mans strength to get them on!!! * Depending on the size of chair legs, the ball does not stay round. Instead, it smashes in. * They are a tennis ball so if you're looking for sophisticated style, you may consider other options. We put this floor in a few years ago and gambled on the advertisement of durability, only to realize later this year, we have a couple nasty deep scrapes that could have been avoided if we had put the protection on sooner. If you're into fun, a little adventurous and want great protection, I highly recommend these!

Works really well on a regular folding walker with two front wheels but "hind legs" with metal caps which tend to scratch wood floors and not roll easily on carpeted area.

I use them on my walker as they glide through my home inside and even when I go outside and on uneven surfaces. They last longer than the gliders as they are smaller and they can be slippery on outside terrains.
