This pre-lit artificial Christmas garland is a very convenient product. I had purchased a very large grapevine wreath for a song at my local thrift store and wanted to turn it into a Christmas wreath. This garland worked perfectly for that purpose. I would have wired it on with floral wire, but didn't have any handy, so I just used some jute that I had on hand. I was able to hide it so that it is completely invisible. I then took out a package of artificial Christmas flowers and berries that I purchased to go with the garland. I hot glued them directly to the grapevine wreath, as the garland has led lights and cords and I didn't want to damage them. The garland is a very generous 9 feet long and went all the way around the 3.5-foot wreath with no trouble, bringing up to about 4 ft in diameter. I did not wrap it. The whole project took about two hours and used a copious amount of hot glue. Not bad. You can judge for yourself from my included picture, but I am extremely pleased with the results. It will look lovely above my buffet for the holidays. The led lights are great- not too bright, not too dim, just right. The only thing that I did not like about the garland was that as soon as I opened the package three or four of the ornament balls went flying across the room and rolled into various places. They are not attached, but rather just stuck to the ends of some of the branches. I did not bother putting them back on as the quantity was so generous, that it was superfluous anyway. Also, if you don't care for them, they are easy to remove. The greenery on the garland looks much nicer in person than in the pictures but does require quite a bit of fluffing and the flowers need tweaking from being flattened during shipment. With the exception of these trivial concerns, I am thrilled with this product and the end result of the project. Great buy for me. Happy Crafting!

This is a very nice looking garland once you've spent the time to 'fluff' it up. However, I'm taking off two stars for two big reasons: 1.) these are very bright white lights- not warm at all; 2.) the fake poinsettias arrived in horrible condition. If you're okay spending a lot of time to set this up and you have a good hairdryer or heat gun and don't mind the bright white lights, then I would definitely suggest this garland! My poinsettias arrived very bent and horribly out of shape- so I had to remove them all (they're attached by a thin wire like an ornament) and I used my heat gun (on medium to low heat, a good hairdryer should be able to achieve enough heat as well) to help flatten out the bent petals and to re-arrange the positioning of the petals and golden decor in the middle as well. It took probably 20 minutes to take off all the poinsettias and to then fix them up with the heat gun and then to put them back on (save a large one to cover up the battery container). It then took about another 20 minutes to fluff up all the branches and to remove some plastic covers over the pine needles. So after about 40 minutes, you'll have a beautiful garland! Batteries are not included though, and you'll need 3 double AAs for this. I put this over my fireplace mantel, and the main wire is quite thick and it is fairly difficult to get it to stand perfectly flat over the mantel and to have it drape naturally. Not sure if that's an issue that fixes over time, or if it will always have this issue.

I've always wanted to do something fun with our fireplace mantel for Christmas, besides stockings, and this garland is exactly what I was looking for! When I first opened the package, I was a bit weary of the quality - as a couple of the red Christmas balls and some red pine cones fell off. However, they popped right back on without any problems. The garland does need to be fixed up a bit before hanging - the poinsettias need to be laid out, the frosted branches need to be unwrapped, and the garland itself needs to generally be fluffed out. Once the garland was ready, I installed the batteries and hung it up on my mantel using removable plastic hooks (not included). It looks amazing!! The lights are not warm white, they are cool white - but they are bright. I do wish that the batteries would last longer - if I leave the lights on for a day, the batteries need to be changed out. I use rechargeable batteries, so it's not a problem - but kind of a pain to do every day. I think for the price point of $22.99 this garland is a wonderful deal.

Okay, when I took this garland out of its wrappings, I thought "this will never do"... but was I wrong about that! It was so compacted and smashed, the first thing I did was stretch it out, outside, to let it shed and relax a few days. Then I set about pulling and shaping the greenery stems, and adjusting the silk flower blooms. The ads did not show the actual flowers for some reason, those looked painted and photo-shopped on. The actual flowers look poorly at first, but with some adjustment, they really look lovely. There are also shiny plastic red ornaments and artificial red berries along with the warm yellow lights. The lights are powered by 3 AA batteries (not included). I'm still amazed at how pretty this garland looks over my living room arch way. Tis the Season!
