Over time, while shaping and sanding the nails, the areas closest to the fingertips and cuticles may show signs of wear, such as rips and tears, which is expected. However, the nails remain secure as long as they are properly inserted into the opening designed for the false nails. The plastic fins around the pivot joint broke immediately the first time I tightened it. It took almost no force to snap the plastic, so be careful when you’re positioning it. I can still use it, and it’s a great and very realistic practice hand. Wish I could replace the plastic piece.

I love this practice hand! Is perfect for pictures and practice , BUTTTT ! When you want to file/buff the nails you have to take out the nail and do it yourself because then it rips off skin from the mannequin or the nail starts to pop off. But other than that it’s perfect because the fingers bend and everything!
