  • Had issues but it was resolved
Color: Black
I bought this item for travel, it was working great until one day it just stop working. I was unsure reason why, as I only had this item for about 1 year. First let me say that it worked great very easy for travel, it come in case travel case which is great. It has a wall plug and plug for your car, but if you have a EV car you are out of luck. Very long battery usage I was stuck at the airport and battery lasted for about 6 hour with having to plug it back in. I reach out to the company and ask for help to trouble shoot, I received a quick response, and they tried to walk me thur the issues I was having with no resolve. I was ask to do a video of the issue I was having. So I did a video and sent it to the company, I was ask to send the Powkey back so they could take a look at it. The Powkey was unable to be fixed so the company sent me replacement Powkey. I just want to say, they will try to fix the issue first, and there will be several emails between you and the company to try to fix the issues and you might have to do one than one video to send to them and you might have to send the Powkey to them to look at it which you have to pay for the shipping. I like companies that will help resolve issues with there products, I would buy from this company again because I think there customer services is great. I also want to say I was not paid to do this review and I bought this Powkey with my own hard earn money. ... show more

  • Great emergency power source!
Color: Black
Clear winner! Well, of course, I didn't compare every product available, but out of the half-dozen or so I chose to test, this one "shined!" I was going on a mission trip to Liberia. I was told that access to electricity was scarce and that even when you are hooked up to electrical service, it isn't reliable. So true! So, I started a quest for the best backup power source to suit my needs. Mainly, I use a CPAP machine and I didn't want to spend another $1,000 for a "medical" grade battery for it. Most of these things are designed for outdoor and camping-type use, although, they can be used indoors just fine. This one seemed a bit more "refined," and is designed primarily for indoor use. It would work outdoors, just keep the rain off of it. It is rechargable with almost any solar panels, but I didn't need that, so I didn't test that feature. It comes with a little 2-amp wall charger that charges it from fully discharged in about 3 hrs. Even though the wall charger does get quite hot, it worked fine. You can also charge it from a car battery or other 12vdc source, and of course solar panels. Since it is humid at my destination, I detached the humidifier from my CPAP and left it at home. That accounts for about 95% (guesstimate) of the power drain. Any heating device is a huge drain on a power source. I also eliminated the two ac-dc conversions which is also a power drain. (The POWKEY provides 115vac output as well as the 12vdc. Everytime you convert energy from ac to dc, or vice versa, energy from your battery source is consumed, i.e. converted to heat and wasted. So, by eliminating use of the power supply on the CPAP and by not using the power inverter on the POWKEY, I knew I would get maximum effeciency.) The CPAP uses 12vdc which is what this POWKEY provides. So, I plugged the CPAP directly into the POWKEY's 12vdc output port. I DID have to buy a proprietary cable from the CPAP manufacturer thru Amazon as direct wiring didn't work. I think it has to do with noise suppression for the electronics in the CPAP, but that is a guess. With that cable, it worked flawlessly. By not using the ac connections, it saved a lot of battery capacity. Although, the POWKEY does have the ac outlets, and I expect it would have worked fine that way. They advertise a "perfect sine wave output." I don't have an oscilloscope to verify that, but when I hooked the POWKEY up to a table lamp with an led bulb, it powered up smoothly and flawlessly to a full, constant light source. When I did this with the other power units I was testing, the light flickered slightly when fully powered up. Not cool. It means that the other power device did NOT supply a perfect sine wave. That'd give ya headache fast! That was all I needed to see. Likely, the POWKEY DOES indeed provide a near-perfect sine wave. (From my engineering background, it is very difficult to achieve this, but MOST desireable especially for electronics.) After using it on this trip, I am so pleased with it. I never write reviews on products, but I had to put in my 2¢ on this exceptional product. BTW, I could run my CPAP (without humidifier) on direct dc current from the POWKEY for at least four nights before it needed re-charging!! I highly recommend this device. ... show more

  • Garbage. Please read the real reviews (1&2*)Worked for 11 months then Died Completely
Color: Black
At first I really liked this power bank. But then out of no where after about 11 months of minimal use, it failed to turn on, recharge , nothing worked..completely dead.. Even with the power cord plugged in, it wouldn't work. It wouldn't turn on or take a charge.. I have portable anker power banks that have lasted 5 plus years. This didn't even last a full year. Of course it's passed the return window so I have no recourse. Extremely disappointing as this was expensive (for me) and I bought for long work travels, emergencies, camping trips etc.. only used it a few times in my home.. and it failed completely right at their warranty period.. I'm still fighting this battle to get a refund..talked with Amazon, however, because it was past their return window and the companies warranty period, no go:( it was a 30 minute convo and they sent a message to the company telling me if they hadn't responded in 60 days, Amazon would contact me and go over refund options.. it's been 6 months and none of that has happened... Would not recommend this device to anyone. It will eventually fail you. The company doesn't stand by their products and something like this should have at least a 3 year warranty. Also, having the AC outlets are cool but they drain the battery 3 to 4 times as fast as the other ports even if your charging the same thing. I tested it to see if the AC or USB would charge my phone faster. Not only was the USB faster but the AC ports drained the battery much quicker. It reallyDoesn't matter because I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this product. Read the reviews.. look at how many people say the exact same thing.. don't fall for this scam product! Plus the company won't help you when the product fails. Just got further review, I never even took this out of it's case, took it outside, it was always in a comfortable room temperature environment. This has been one of my worst purchases on Amazon.. not only because it failed.. but because the company and Amazon won't help. Don't waste your money! ... show more

  • Powerful.
Color: Black
I have three basic types of power banks: 1) Small units that fit in a backpack or briefcase for overnight use, no more than 10,000 mAh; 2) Larger units that will supply several days of power for my phone on a backpacking or canoeing trip with 20,000 to 30,000 mAh, and; ) Big power supplies that add AC out to the mix so that I can run 120 AC if I need to from the battery. These battery packs fall squarely in the third category. They're big and heavy, but not so big and heavy that I couldn't put one in a suitcase if necessary for a trip. In other words, they're not the common lunchbox sized battery units that are really only useful for car camping. These batteries (I purchased two of them) took several hours to charge, and they were already half-full on arrival. After charging them I plugged my Christmas tree into one battery's AC output. The battery powered the tree lights for 3.5 to 4 hours before becoming fully depleted. I then recharged the battery overnight. I didn't measure how long it took to charge from totally empty. I'm very pleased with these batteries. I got them to replace a Jackery 20,000 mAh with AC out and a Romeo Power Sabre of about the same capacity as the Jackery. These batteries were much cheaper than the Saber or Jackery which I purchased together about five years ago. ... show more

  • Dissatisfied after using it a total of 2 times but great customer service
Color: Black
I bought this to use at a gathering with friends where there wasn't electric at each table. It worked great while there, needing to recharge after extended use. I take it out of the case 4 months later to use at home and it won't even charge fully to use. After charging, all 4 lights are on but once unplugged from charger, the unit will not turn on at all. Very dissatisfied after only minimal use. Edit: Contacted their customer service department who in my book is top notch. They arranged for me to return the defective unit and sent out a new one, all the while keeping me informed with each step. Very rare to find a company that stands behind its product these days. ... show more

  • POWER ON THE GO
Color: Black
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reliable Power on the Go – Perfect for Travel, Emergencies, and Outdoor Use I’ve been using the Powkey 200W Portable Power Bank for a few months now, and it has quickly become one of my most dependable gadgets. What stands out most is its balance of portability and power. It’s compact enough to throw in my car or carry to events, yet powerful enough to run small appliances, laptops, and charge multiple devices at once. ✅ Performance: It delivers consistent power without overheating. I’ve run my laptop, charged phones, and even powered a mini projector with no issues. The 200W output is more than enough for everyday electronics. ✅ Design: Lightweight but sturdy. The built-in handle makes it easy to move around, and the digital display is a huge plus—it shows exactly how much battery you have left and how much power you’re using. ✅ Versatility: Multiple outlets (AC, DC, and USB) mean I can use it for everything from work travel to camping. I even keep it in the trunk for emergencies, knowing I can charge my phone or small medical equipment if needed. ✅ Recharging: It recharges fairly quickly, and I appreciate that it can be topped up via a wall outlet, car charger, or solar panel—great flexibility for different situations. Overall, this little powerhouse gives me peace of mind whether I’m traveling, hosting an outdoor event, or just want backup during a storm. If you’re looking for something reliable, portable, and practical, the Powkey 200W is an excellent choice. ... show more

  • Great charger-and yes it works in Europe!
Color: Black
Writing this review because information is scarce on this regarding certain questions. Overall: Its great! -lasts several hours. I use it all the time for my laptop. -It charges phones quickly, and laptops/ereaders. -takes several hours to charge the powerbank. - can be used (and charged) outside of the US. -Yes it is allowed on planes. SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFO. -I study outside of the house (cafe's/libraries) and bring this to sit outside. Between using my own laptop battery and charging it with the powerbank, I stay at the cafe/libraries/parks for 8-10 hours. I usually charge my phone at least once during this time since I use my mobile hotspot for data at times. -Charging it does take some time. I leave it charging when I go to bed so its fully charged. I believe it takes 4-5 hours to fully charge. -It does have a fan that will run while you are charging it. It can startle you when it kicks on-don't worry its not going to blow up. -It is a bit heftier due to its size and amount of power stored. But easy to carry in my backpack. -AC has to be on to charge your items: Turn it on, plug in the devices, press AC till its lit. You will see your device is charging then. -Charge it fully after every use. - YES you can bring it on a plane. I contacted TSA and spoke at length with them-it easily meets the requirements. However, you might not be able to bring a smaller powerbank (like the ones just for cellphones) in your carry on-that part depends on the TSA personnel going thru the gates. It DOES meet the requirements for coming onto the plane! (I was able to bring this and a second powerbank-an Anker slim powerbank for cellphones) -YES you can use it in Europe (with c/f type plugs up to 240v). -You only need a universal adapter plug. -You DO NOT need a stepdown converter. I have used this item daily for the past 7 months. No issues, no loss in battery life. At this point, even if it suddenly decided to die, it would be worth what I paid for it. It has been used quite extensively. That said, I hope it lasts for some time to come. ... show more

  • Bought in February 2022, now it shuts off, and won’t charge correctly
Color: Black
December 2022: I want to say that customer service at Powkey is very responsive. They saw my original review (see below), and offered to send me a new unit—it has arrived within 2 days. I will try it over a period and report back on how it’s working out. I raised stars from 1 to 3; that’s based on cust. service. As for more reliable function, stay tuned. Kudos to Powkey. Original Review: This nice form factor power bank has a great layout, size, and storage case with accessories. However, even with very minimal use in the last 9 months, (probably no more than 20 charging cycles) it won’t charge properly. It doesn’t stay at ‘full’ with all 4 blue led lights illuminated— just after charging it, the lights go down in number even if have not plugged any devices into it. (I AM using the correct input socket, not accidentally plugging charge cord into the same-sized output socket.) Charge it for ample period, 4 leds illuminate. Unplug charge cord, turn unit off, then back on, and immed. leds go down to 3. Then, when plugging in a small 12v USB speaker, the Powkey supplies it for less than a minute, and the power bank shuts off. Nothing else is plugged in. I’m keeping this on concrete garage floor from now on, until I safely recycle it, I guess. Does not seem safe, in any case definitely does not perform as it should, even though it did for a short while. Yes, I did check it and charge it every 30 to 60 days, and did not leave it plugged in for extended time; just enough time to get 4 blue leds. That soon became unattainable; the 4th blue light is never reached. . ... show more
