  • Design & Assembly
The media could not be loaded. This is my initial review of just taking the product of of the box and assembling it. I will write another review once my grandson rides it to let others know how the battery and speeds hold up. I received the package today (11/28/2018) (which was 2 days earlier than the earliest day that it had initially listed for delivery). And a kudos to the actual UPS driver who asked if there were any kids here before he got the package off the truck. He said that there was a picture of it on the side and he wanted to make sure that kids were not here so they wouldn't see it (which was very thoughtful). Anyways, it was pretty easy to get out of box. The product was packed snug (which I liked because it cut down on everything slinging around inside the box during shipping. Once everything was out of the box, I pulled instructions and went through and identified all the parts according to the assembly instructions. I followed instructions exactly like it was listed. If you do this, I honestly believe anyone should not have a problem putting it together. There is a part in the instruction manual that states when you are putting the front axle assembly together that it would be better to have 2 people during this step. I was able to do this by myself with no help....it was not that hard at all to do it if you do not have anyone to help you. Everything lined up great. I was a little reluctant on the assembly considering some of the reviews I have read on here concerning this four-wheeler. My guess would be that those people have never put together a Power Wheels vehicle before (because there are a LOT more parts, screws, washers, etc to either be missing or just making the assembly hard). I have put together quite a few Power Wheels in my time and I would say this one is the easiest one to assemble. True, there are no "bells and whistles" with this dinosaur four-wheeler, but with a little imagination and ingenuity you can create something for your dinosaur lover. You can watch my video. ... show more

  • Be careful
The pin to hold the tire on broke off on the first ride. Throwing my toddler off.

  • 5 Minutes is All Dino Lasted
Like another reviewer, the pin broke! Our son barely drove it five minutes and the pin that held the tire broke. The tire fell off immediately. I have one sad son. I came to the look for a replacement pin and wasn’t going to leave a review but this is not a reliable toy. $300 for a toy that only last 5 minutes before breaking is ridiculous. ... show more

  • Good but be ready to fix some pins
My daughter loves this Dino 4 wheeler. It’s nice and sturdy and a good speed for her. I have one complaint though. When we put it together and she rode for the first time the wheel just came off. The pin broke on the first ride but we didn’t want her disappointed so we fixed it ourselves. Just beware guys that there are other reviews saying the same thing about a broken pin on the first ride. ... show more

  • 3 year old son loves it!
This is a very cool looking Power Wheels. My son loves dinosaurs, and he also loves driving his big sister's Power Wheels dune racer so this was a win-win for him. It seems well-built, and it was easy to put together. I wish the battery lasted a little longer. Seems like you can get about a solid hour and a half of driving it at max speed. I have a few other batteries on hand that I keep charged in case there are any "emergencies". ... show more

  • Disappointed and frustrated.
We normally don’t write reviews but we are not happy with with this purchase. The Dino racer is missing a rear wheel and front axle. Now the question is how this is even possible and furthermore you are not able to return it you just get a link to the manufacturer and that is no easy task. Our son was heartbroken over this as this was a present for his birthday. Really disappointed amazon. ... show more

  • So far so good!
Okay, so... I am not going to sound OVERLY hyped, becaauuse.. this is the second power wheel we have bought for our 3yo. The first one was a different brand and it crapped out in the first week. Luckily we were refunded our money without having to ship it back. This one, so far, have been 10x better! He absolutely loves his dinosaur whom he named “mouthy” lol. I love that he doesn’t have access to the faster speed and that the tires are out a lot further than his last one.. he flipped the first one a few times. Anywho, the only con I have is that is was EXPENSIVE, but luckily I just used the money from the other one and only paid 100 out of pocket for this one. THANK YOU! I obviously update this if something goes south. ... show more

  • Amazing for Your Dino Lover!
My Grandson LOVES his Dino Rider. We live 6 blocks from park and its hilly, the rider has no problems going up the hills and its battery handles the trips he makes. His Grandpa rides his bike to keep up. It's nice that it has 2 speeds. We gave him rules to follow before we would allow him to have the faster option, once we knew he would follow rules we unscrewed the cover to the green button and he never looked back. Highly recommend ... show more
