Description

The Hydrant FLIGHT deck is a refined, precise version of Andy's Vajra, developed with ease. It's reminiscent of the original Heron shape, but smaller and symmetrical, measuring 8.25" at the waist, just under 8.5" at the widest, and having a 14.25" wheelbase. The square edge and slightly curved nose and tail provide solid, stable pop, while the K26 concave and inner cuts create a front-foot pocket that makes Tre Flips and Varial Heelflips easier to flick. Its streamlined shape, pop, and responsive feel make it a solid choice.

  • BEST ON MARKET
This deck is actually amazing, i used to skate religiously back when I was a kid and until about 21 or so then took a break for over 10 years.. now kids wanted to get into it so I got this one for me to try out and I have to say the design works.. better pop than most, the flip tricks flip like butter on this thing and it really is unbreakable I even tested it with my truck and sure enough nothing from being run over with hardware on. It's amazing.. the one thing I see issue with is razor tail and nose.. it is slightly thinner than most decks so the razor tail will start sooner however it does not lose pop like most do when this occurs its kinda weird.. great board and absolutely buying again ... show more

  • Love the shape.
Sick deck. I really hope this shape becomes a staple, cause I love it. It's everything a popsicle wants to be.

  • One of the best on the market hands down.
I thought the shape was going to be awkward, but to much of my surprise it has been the most consistent board I have owned. If your thinking of buying this board just do it, you will love it.

  • Great so far
One time at the park and it felt great and intuitive. A mild adjustment from my Baker. I was eyeballing Andy's setup for a long time, so I was already using his wheels and the Mini Logo trucks on my board. Now I have his same setup, minus .10" risers. I couldn't be happier overall. The slightly shorter wheelbase feels great for me at 5'-9". Compared to the Baker Andrew Reynolds, it has more prominent concave and the tail seems longer like a popsicle nose. I thought it would be strange, but it just seems to flow with the feet really well right away. On a food scale the complete weighs in at 5lbs-7.3oz. Only 2.3oz heavier than the old complete with Baker deck that has wear, so probably about equal if compared new to new. TLDR: I skate light and I'm working more on relearning the board after 25+ years away from skating. It started as something to poke around with while taking my daughters to the park, but it has turned into a passion again. I'm keeping my sessions low risk. I can take bumps and bruises, but can't risk serious injury due to responsibilities. That said, I'm not going to be able to provide super valuable insights on performance beyond my light skating on flats and transitions other than it feels like it should, and I'm really excited to spend more time on it. I opted for Flight construction as a way to increase longevity for pop, as how I wear my boards they go soggy before they get worn out. Hope this all helps. ... show more

  • Forever Board Forever Board
I am a 40 year old skater that has been back into skating for a little over a year after 20 years. I just got my replacement flight deck after skating the 1st almost everyday for almost a year. The old one barely started chipping on the nose and tail but honestly razor tailor is not as bad asi thought it would be with a thinner board. This is my forever board and the combo of Andy’s wheel/Theory grip really make this board incredible!! I also have the 7 ply version of this board and the pop is insane with the flight deck! If your looking for the best all around board for street and transition that will last this is your board! The board is lightweight and the gold finish shines in the sun. The only real issue I had was the truck size but I went from 8.5 to 8.75 ACE inverted and the 8.75 truck works perfect on this deck. If you want to do rail stands 8.75 trucks make the board sit flat during truck stands. Trust me it’s worth the cost I would have bought multiple 7ply deck over the last year that I rode the first board. ... show more
