The piece comes put together and is easily moved by one person, if needed. There's no glass or plastic behind the scroll work but that was not important to me. It came well packaged and has tons of storage space. Honestly, it took forever to decide what room it would go in, it is just so versatile. We are using it as a minibar set-up and it fits perfectly between the rustic mancave and my french country kitchen to blend the spaces. It was deemed "not too feminine." I think it would be wondering as a bathroom organizer or entryway piece as well. If I could justify getting one for every room... I probably would. I love this piece because it's already assembled! And it's the perfect size. This console arrived in perfect condition and looks better in actuality than it does online, neither too yellow nor too bland. It looks great whether the cabinet is left empty or used to store books, medicines, knick-knacks, etc. The lower drawers open and close easily and are not that noticeable, handy for hiding cigarettes and so forth, in the event you find yourself in need of a place to quickly stow something away from view. It's a very versatile piece and I'll add photos when I get the blue and yellow Tiffany style lamp I intend to place on top of it. The entirety of its interior - cabinet and drawers - are usable, it's the perfect size and height for my king bed (framed), and I recommend it highly. ... show more

Shipping was faster than expected, they come completely assembled (which I was concerned about but They arrived well packaged and in perfect conditioned.) The size Is exactly what I was looking for in a night stand and best of all it came without the high price of a good sized pretty nightstand. They are beautiful, I considered painting them because the rest of my bedroom furniture is not distressed but me and my husband fell in love with the piece and decided not to touch it. Insane quality for the price, it’s my favorite purchase in a long time. The storage we now have next to the bed clears up the random things with no space in the bedroom. I was looking for an inexpensive small cabinet with some character that would match our transitional style . This cabinet is very distressed so I changed it a bit by sanding all but the doors and painting it with chalk paint. I also added white linen backing behind the doors that I repurposed from a large unused drum shade. It is not heirloom furniture so I wasn't afraid to play around with it. I love this piece... I was pleasantly surprised that it looked so much prettier in person. It’s the perfect size for what I’m needing it for. The distressing and paint is great too. Sometimes I just don’t understand negative feedback.
