I've taught ceramics/pottery for 20 years. I need to order for 14 students, and after purchasing one to try, I'm absolutely purchasing all 14. I've searched and searched, bought 4 of what I thought were the best options to try, and this is the winner. Super long (I'm 6ft. tall), thick, good straps, and best price for the quality. And it seems like it should hold up in the wash. Only time will tell for that, I guess. I did try the claypron, which is also fantastic - and I kept for myself - but these are just as nice and $10 cheaper. Have to pinch pennies with this public school budget!

I was pleasantly surprised by this pottery apron. It's well-constructed from substantial cotton canvas and has several pockets. You can tie the split legs or let them hang free. I chose to let them hang and they still provided great coverage for throwing pottery on the wheel and hand building. I'm 5'3" and about a women's size 14-16 and the ties wrap completely around and tie in front and it's not too long. Also the apron came in a nice box that could be re-used for other things. Excellent product and presentation. This apron should last for years.

I'm 5' 1" and this was way too long for me since it reached my ankles. I had thought of having it hemmed but decided against it. The fabric is fantastic and made to withstand the mess of a pottery studio but I did return it because it was just too big overall and that made it uncomfortable.

Love the apron. Used it for throwing the day it arrived. Kept my shirt and jeans clean. Only negative is that it ties behind the neck and the ties are rather large and stiff. I'll likely add velcro so it lays down and isn't so noticeable. Great design and fabric.

Purchased this a few months ago for my pottery classes as I was tired of having clay slip all over me at the end of the day. Works like a charm. I completely covers my legs and chest (5'8" male). It recommends to not be washed often, but it came out of the machine is very good condition after the wash at the end of the course. Now I use it every time I through on the wheel.
