The media could not be loaded. After reviewing many drones before making this purchase, the Potensic ATOM has the best value for the cost. I fly only for recreation and It is easy and fun to fly. Programming in beginner mode limit the distance and altitude to @ 95' allowing you to gain experience without worrying about losing the drone. The camera is very steady and both photos and videos are very good. The Fly More package is great. Charging batteries with the Fly More charger is convenience and fast. All three batteries plus the flight controller can be charged at the same time. Charging time is @ 90 minutes with each battery providing @ 30 minutes of flight time. I have worked as an independent insurance adjuster and this drone would have been a great tool when I was an adjuster 20 years ago. It would have saved me time and added to my personal safety on the job from not having to climb every roof for photos. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The Potensic Atom is right on par with DJI and Autel sub 250 gram drones. It has excellent build quality. It has GPS guidance and a three axis gimble for the 4K 30 fps camera. I takes beautiful smooth videos. And great still shots. It also has quick shot modes like Pull-away, Rocket, Circle, Spiral, and Boomerang. It also has visual tracking. Battery life is a good 25 min. or more under good conditions. I haven't tried a distance test, but have sent it out way beyond line of sight as seen in the video, and didn't even get as much as a flicker on my phone display. The app is very easy to get around and understand. And the controller is very comfortable to use. The controls placement was well thought out. Their updates are fast and easy. Potensic really pays attention to what customers are saying, and constantly making improvements. There are three things I would like to see in the future, but I don't know if the weight limit will allow it. I would like to have the option of 60 FPS, even if only in the 2.7K mode. Obstacle avoidance would be nice. And I would like to be able to yaw during a way-point mission. If these are possible, I have no doubt that Potensic will try. This is my third drone, and the least expensive. But the best by far. I got the Fly More Combo, and it still comes in under $400.00. Awesome drone! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This drone works for me and I should have started with this one instead of the cheaper brands. I feel like my videos and photos are clear and smooth. I like that I can check my videos/shots on my phone while out in the field to make sure I'm happy with what I captured. The app is very easy to use and guides you through the process of pairing the drone with the remote and with the phone. The drone does exactly as asked by me and by the remote controller. The other drones I tried did what THEY wanted and now they're gone. This drone hovers perfectly and is very stable. I've used it in 12 MPH wind with no issues, but I'd rather not be in any wind. I was testing it and it passed. The 3 axis gimbal adds a new dimension to the Atom drone with the horizon being straight. I previously had an Atom SE, it was a great drone too and I thought the video was smooth, but the horizon tilted. I traded in the SE for this new drone. I never wrecked the SE and I've not crashed this drone...and that's with months of daily flying. All of the quick shots work. The RTH feature is probably what I use the most due to the fact that this drone is very hard to keep in my line of sight. It blends in with the sky, and tho I don't fly miles away, it's still so hard to see. That's my only gripe. Also, when using RTH, the drone returns every time and within 2 feet of my landing pad. Bueno! I like the weight of the drone, so just take the TRUST test and there is no FAA registration. The batteries last 30+ minutes as advertised. Just to mention : I calibrate the compass almost every flight. Usually the drone will prompt if you're 30 miles away from the last point of calibration. Very happy with my purchase and with customer service. I had an issue with my first Atom, the app kept telling me there was a "motor error"...customer service replaced the drone. This drone is awesome. The video and photo quality is excellent, better than expected. Everything works as advertised, the app is stable, the gimbal works perfectly, etc. The latest version of the firmware seems to have solved the minor issues reported by others previously, as I've had zero of those issues. Range is very good, I have been able to fly it over 2 miles away without losing signal so far. Also the drone works just fine in cold weather, I've flown it extensively in temps in the low 20s through the mid 30s (F). Battery life is excellent, about as advertised, and cold weather doesn't seem to degrade it much. The drone hovers perfectly, is extremely stable, and is quite fast for something of its size. I've flown it in winds around 20mph, and the drone doesn't seem affected at all. I'm still experimenting with all the special features, but so far the waypoint and tracking features seem to work perfectly. The fly more package is a fantastic value. 3 batteries, charger which charges all 3 at the same time, nice storage case, and spare parts included. Also the charger can charge all three batteries in 1.5 hours or less, and it can charge the controller at the same time as the three batteries. I bought this because it is NOT a DJI, and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat! NO geofencing, NO altitude limit, NO remote ID required (under 250g). It will be interesting to see what Potensic comes out with next, but they certainly hit a home run with this one! ... show more
