This is a great chair. It folds up smaller lengthwise than the GCI typical chair that I had prior. It is sturdy and looks like it will last much longer than the typical chair. The seat is firm so it doesn’t sag. The back is high enough to lean back on. Best part is the carry strap attached to the chair so no need to fight putting it into the bag each time. The only drawbacks are narrow cup holder that doesn’t really fit a travel cup, narrow armrests, and it is a bit heavier than the typical chair. Overall a really great chair and I would definitely recommend this and would buy again.

Just gave this chair to my husband for Father's Day. It was a bear getting it open...it's very tight, and make sure you un-velcro the tie around the top. It's also tight to fold up, so don't give this to someone who is not fairly strong. Once opened it is large and sturdy and because the seat isn't raggy, its easy to get in and out of. And the seat is nice and wide and high. One nice feature is the vent on the back for air circulation. Good feature they should give a bullet point to. Be aware that it is much bigger and heavier than a regular rag chair, but I like that it has the carry strap attached right to the chair so you don't have to use the cover bag if you don't want to. Very nice chair for our "big guys" and comfortable for everyone.

This chair is sturdy but HEAVY, so the attached strap was a game changer. It is as comfortable as I had hoped during countless days and hours outside watching kids’ sports. However, one of the main reasons I got it was the carry strap - I hate having to hassle with the bag when it’s time to pack it up and this has a strap attached directly to the chair. However, after a few weeks one of the ends of the strap broke off. I was willing to deal with it because it was still functional, but now after less than a season, the other end of the strap broke rendering it useless. This seems like a basic design flaw since the strap attachments can’t support the weight of the chair.

Great chair, only minor complaint is that the back leans back a little too far for me. I use a pillow behindd my back so I sit straight up more. I had a stroke, so leaning back is uncomfortable for me.

Bought two of these for my boyfriend (he's 6'1 and 270) and I to take to the beach over Labor Day weekend. I'm not tall (5'5) but I'm also not a fan of those beach chairs that only sit about six inches off the ground; they're not easy to get out of, and once they settle into the sand you might as well be sitting on the ground anyway. Both of us were very satisfied with these. Sure, they're a little heavier than other chairs, but they were comfortable and we both loved the high backs and the pocket on one arm. We had no issues opening or closing the chairs, and found them easy to put back in the carrying bags. The only thing I would change would be to make the cupholders a bit larger to accommodate reusable water bottles, but that doesn't detract from my overall review. These are quality chairs.

Well…. Many reviewer mentioned hard to collapse. I didn’t find that true the chair is well built, sturdy, and comfortable. I’m 6’1” these days and weigh somewhere around 290. The seat is flat and with the hard arms it’s relatively easy to remove myself from the chair. Oh did I say I’m also 73? I have a bad back and knee. I can get in and out just fine. It also holds my adult beverage easily and it folds up rather quickly ( you need to grab the two forward seat points and pull up while leaning over the back) I found that if you turn the folded chair upside down on a table and start the cover down then turn the whole thing right side up it works just fine Re-covering the now folded chair. I’m happy. Much better than the Col$@-n chair from WalMart.

Comfortable chair but not what I wanted as far as being portable. There is a strap you can use to carry it over your shoulder without the carrying case but the one little velcro strap to keep it folded up isn't very sturdy so you really need the carrying case.

The chair is very comfortable and easy to get down and up from. Hard to set up one handed but overall easy set up with both hands. The bag has a carry strap as well as the chair. It is little on the heavy side.
