Our 13 YO broke his leg in baseball. Spiral Tibia fracture to be specific. Once home from the ER we had to figure out a lot of things including how to pee. An empty OJ bottle was the immediate course. I found this item and ordered it. 2 days later it arrived, couldn’t find any that would arrive earlier. He looked forward to the item when I described it to him. Although he was a pro with the OJ bottle he definitely appreciated the upgrade. In fact he said he “never wanted to drink OJ again.” lol Features he liked: -ease of use -wide rim -handle -glow in dark cap Features I (mom) liked: -attached cap -easy to clean We took it to his med appts as well, came in handy a couple times both there and en route. Likes: Easy to use. Thick plastic. Can set on end on bottom or on opposite side of handle. If you use the cap, once tightened fluid will not leak. Dislikes: Cap is attached with a plastic ring. If you leave it on and pour out the liquid, it will pour on the opened lid and splash all over. I removed the ring with cap attached. It took a lot of force of twisting and turning. One could use the unattached cap if so desired to seal the bottle. Left the cap under a light for 2 hours then took it in the dark: could hardly see the cap. Didn't purchase for the "glow in the dark" feature which is a joke. ... show more

This was my first time buying or using a portable urinal, and I have to say, I'm fairly impressed. The build quality was pretty high - the plastic used is sturdy, and doesn't really bend. The urinal has a flat bottom and sits stable on a surface, which may be useful depending on your use case. The handle is fairly robust as well - I tried breaking it, but could not. The urinal is I think the perfect size - comfortably large enough that you won't have overflow problems, at least with one use (though depending on how big your bladder is, I could see up to three "full" uses), but not too large. I left the container full overnight, and when I checked on it the next morning, there was no smell that escaped the container. I also wanted to test it by filling it with water and shaking -- the lid fits perfectly with no leakage. The lid does glow -- it's really bright for the first half an hour or so, but fainter afterwards. I could still use the glow to find the bottle after I put it in a pitch-black room for ten hours (though I have good eyesight, your mileage may vary, and I don't know how many months the glow would last). Overall I'd highly recommend this due to its size and quality of construction, whether for truckers on the go, or folks who need to stay on their bed more. I think it's a fairly robust product that is easy to use and 'just works,' and is built well enough to last. ... show more
