The media could not be loaded. Jan update: this works with my Raspberry Pi 400 with this item (hopefully Amazon allows it): https://a.co/d/9LgR7sR USB 3.1+ is electrically different from 3.0- and I think that's a kind of up-converter. It's U$26 so a significant cost to the monitor but necessary for touchscreen functionality for older computers. I discovered it through a Reddit. Original review: As a monitor, this thing works great for the price! The speakers are weak, but what monitor / TV doesn't have that problem these days? BUT I bought this for touch functionality, so let's go there: The good: USB-DP-Alt mode works perfectly and I'm using my Pixel 8 Pro with a separate USB wired keyboard in the monitor's USB-A port (clearly what it's for). The touch was perfect until I put a screen protector on, so that seems to be my fault. The bad: unless I'm missing something, there's no way to connect other than USB C-C. I haven't found an A-C 3.0 cable that works but I'm not sure I have one; perhaps this would work with an A-C 3.1 cable. For this reason, using with a Pi or older PC won't seem to work. I wish I knew and it's too late to return for that. With that sole limitation, if you want Samsung Dex, Pixel's now official mirroring, or a laptop with DP-Alt, you can't go wrong @ under $100!

First you need to connect it to USB (either through A or C but it needs a USB connection to the machine). As other people have reported saying it's not a touch screen except for the bottom areas, that is because they have not configured their Windows 11 device for use as a touch screen with a 2nd monitor. To do this: Search for "Control Panel" Click "Large Icons" from the view by menu You will see Tablet PC settings. (this is a manageable option, if your device is company managed it may not appear and you will need to contact them) Choose the top option of the new window to use the touch functions. Your monitors will turn white, and text will appear on one of them. Press enter until the text appears on the monitor you are using as a touch screen. Tap the monitor screen. 10 point touch is activated.

This is not actually a touchscreen like it is advertised. Only the bottom right menu screen is touchscreen. It is advertised like the entire thing is a 10 point touch system and it IS NOT. If you are specifically looking for a touchscreen you do not want this. If you don't need a touchscreen then this is a perfect little screen! It comes with a carrying case and has a nice stand attached to the back of the screen. I gave it 1 star because it did not work for the purpose I needed it to. However, it connected and looked beautiful it just wasn't functional for my situation.

Just opening the box you can feel their attention to details and quality. The screen looks great! Colors are fully adjustable from Saturation, Brilliance, Brightness, Contrast, and profiles to try and fit your needs. The touch screen controls are awesome, and the extension to your laptop idea is beyond and innovative. I haven't had a chance to test the laptop part yet. But I've plugged in a FireTV stick and watched about 4 movies on it with no issues. I've plugged an retro handheld with the mini hdmi to hdmi cable and played about 18 hours of gaming on it now. The maximum sound on this unit isn't very loud, but it most likely dependent on your source. In a quiet intimate environment this thing puts out some good sound. You can easily use the audio out to plug in your lined source if needed. The supplied cables are thick and great quality and feel like they will last a long time. (Time will only tell of course). The entire unit is made of steel/aluminum feel with a glass screen. I gave it my dry hand rub test in the corner and it didn't scratch it one bit which is important for longevity. I did have an issue with the first unit that has a very audible buzzing sound on anything but 100% brightness. I reached out to the seller, and they are straight up awesome. They replaced the unit with no questions and obviously stand by their products which makes this a no brainer and no risk. They genuinely want you to love their products. The replacement unit was 100% perfect, no issues, no dead pixels, no buzzing sounds, and the screen was also consistently great! I can easily power this with a battery pack and the draw isn't terrible. I was able to get about 4-6 hours of usage from my Danboard branded battery pack rated at 10,000 mAh. I give my highest recommendation to this portable monitor kit. And feel you will love it as much as I do.

Update: The monitor is touchscreen only if you use a USB C to USB C cable. Giving three stars since it doesn't mention that in the description. The monitor is not touchscreen on the entire display, it's only touchscreen in the bottom right corner when the settings menu is displayed.

This was purchased after returning a "touchscreen" with touch/setup issues. The screen and accessories were very well packaged as shown in the photos. Connected to a USB-C power source, then to Galaxy S24. Dex worked out of the box as expected with touch input. Cannot speak to longevity of the display, but it is well built, lightweight and has a matte screen that is very susceptible to finger prints. I like it. I would say you get value for your money.
