The two extra screens attached to my Macbook 15 Pro are a god send for me. As a software engineer, I like to keep my main laptop screen for primary tasks like editing the software. Then I use the other screens for sw test results and web search for solutions and and email tasks. I prefer the smaller 14 inch screens in this format as they are all at the same eye level. I discovered that using larger 27 inch displays on monitor platforms requires me to move my eyes vertically up and down way too much. I also wear glasses and the screen distance to my eyes are uniform, so no more squinting. From this perspective, this dual screen setup more than meets my needs in my home office laptop work setup. I work from home and have to extra monitors because I always need to have multiple screens for work, but when I travel for work I can’t take those monitors with me they are large and hard to travel with them or with even one. I was searching for extra small monitors on Amazon and I stumbled across these two monitors on one extender, I thought this is exactly what I need. So far I have been using for testing from home and they are amazing, clear pictures, easy to install they only need one wire for each monitor, no extra power required which helps a lot. So far they are working and performing great, also they are good quality, easy to pack. First Impression I'm glad I took the chance! I'll be taking this with me on a business trip soon but right out of the box it was plug and play for my Lenovo legion 7 (2021 rtx 3060 variant). Connection The displays actually came with every cable I needed to try them out, I don't have an hdmi port on my laptop but I have two USB C ports and it worked right away. They do actually include an hdmi to usb c cable in the box as well as 2 nice usb c cables that each have a right angle connector. Picture quality I don't do video editing or anything super intensive but I do office work and occasionally work to create resources in canva- you can probably tell from the photos but the screens looked just as nice if not a little better than my actual laptop screen. Build quality Honestly, I probably wouldn't recommend it but it feels like you could drop these screens and dust them off an keep going. They feel extremely well made and the mechanism they use to attach to your laptop is super intuitive. All you do is pull it around your screen and then gently push it together and it has rubberized feet to protect your actual laptop from any scratches or anything like that. The best part in my opinion is the hinge on the back, I was super nervous coming from a straight up USB C monitor that there wouldn't be something thoughtful in place to keep the weight off the laptop hinge and upright but the hinge on the back isn't like the skinny ones you see in other photos, it actually has a pretty wide base so that it's not like you're trying to hold up a tablet with a pencil. This device totally makes sense for my needs, maybe a V2 could be a little lighter but when it feels this durable and comes with a carrying case (like it does) its honestly not a big deal to throw in a pack or luggage when you need to have a multi screen setup for business on the go. ... show more
